Here is what I have so far but not real sure where to go next. I plan on doing some weathering/scratches with a base of Dark Flesh then Boltgun and some Mitheril highlights. Any ideas will be a huge help!

I would add a badab black wash to the red, it would give it some shading and dirty it up a bit

Yeah, it's far too clean I'd use a watered down Devlan Mud wash (to shade red, this does a better job than black in my opinion) and add lots of paint scrapes and rust

I agree with the wash idea. Badab Black or Devlan Mud, whichever suits your tastes best, but either way it could use a wash to give it some more definition.

The checks on the front look great, good job on them! Maybe some more similar details elsewhere would Orky it up more. Random checked stripes, or some black flames or something?

I used a black wash on my wagon. Basically your just tracing every seem (and there is ALOT on that model) and then dot every rivet. Then you can weather at your leisure. It makes a huge improvement.

Yes I am planning laying down some mud wash after I get the base of my chips and scratchedu weathering done. I will start on that tomorrow and post up some pics.
