Where did I leave that Thunderhammer?

So I am starting a Blood Angel army and I need a single handed thunderhammer for my Vanguard squad. Any idea where I can find one? I see that the Space Wolves have one in plastic in the troops box but it has wolf iconography. Any better choices?

Possibly take a termy one and cut off the wires and pistons on it
Or take a banner pole, and attach the top of the hammer to it (after cutting it to size)

Or, you can use a two handed hammer and attach the gun to the marines backpack

You can trim the shoulder of the termie arm to fit onto normal marine arms perfectly. If you have LC termies you'll have alot of leftover THs.

EDIT: Just checked out the Death Company sprue. There's a single One-handed Thunderhammer on it.

EDIT (again): Looked again, it appears to be only half of the two handed thunder hammer. although if you leave out the other half it could work as a one-handed version.

awesome. I thought the only thunderhammer in the DC sprues were 2 handed.

The Glaive Encarmines of the Sanguine Guard also has a few that are one-handed. you can easily swap out the axe head for a hammer head and it'd look perfect as a BA TH.

Nope, its two handed, and both hands are already on it I think

The hammer is still rather complete and looks fine to me. A bit of guitar wire and no one will know the difference.

Darrian, you're turning to the Vampire side too?! Ha!

The DC box only has the two handed Thunderhammer but you can use the head portion and make it one handed fairly easily. Another option I have use to make TH is taking the generic TH from the Terminator Assault box set and putting them onto single handed axe hands or the Company Champion sword arm from the Command Squad box. Next time we're in GE together remind me and I can show you a few examples of simple one handed TH conversions from my Salamanders.

Then you're stuck with the wolf head in a BA army. If you want to use the wolf hammer I would suggest swapping out the hammer heads. As a SW player I have to admit I find the Thunderhammer to have a pretty static pose that doesn't make for very good minis.
