I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Well,as you may recall from the previous "zombie"RPG,we all just basically posted our characters actions up until Silver posted an event,at which point we'd all PM Silver with the actions we'd like to take in the event...and then,Silver...in all his wisdom would write out the event conclusions.
As I recall, some times our post would "suggest" events that Silver would then act on and other times the events would just originate in Silvers warped...erm..I mean wonderful imagination.
I'm assuming Dark is going to play it similar to that...so I'd just Rp as usual and when Dark is ready to do an event...I'm sure we'll all know.

Just to say, Karon specifically pointed out he wanted to make his character last to the end of the Rp if he could. Sadly, what with the cajoogling, and the mahuuping, im not really seeing this to be a likely case.
Its a bit unfair on Karon, im awair of that, but if his previous incarnation of madness was bad, 'Stone is really out for blood, and unlike in the previous Rp in which Karon tried to make Stone his buddy, their anen't no chance of that this time. Apart from hiding with the Russians I don't think he's got a single chance.
Again, commiseration's to Karon's spot of bad luck.
Still, s'what comes from having an unrealistic character.
I still don't agree with how things went down in that event. Bruce Lee would have been hard pressed to pull half that off in one go let alone walk away under his own power.
It is too late to do anything about it now, but I do ask that in the future, a little more research is put into things to help avoid this situation.
I dunno how that event system worked in all honesty. Was their voting involved? That was Key to the previous Rp, and it was part of the reason for its success in my opinion, as the players got to control the event.

There was no voting in this event,Dark wrote the event up as it appeared.

Well that's really gotta change. Realistically, it seems a fair few people were angered by that event, which, whilst it was nicely written and engaging, it seemed to remove the options of chance that were in the previous Rp.
Just saying, than in future we should stay with the voting system. It worked, and people never complained at the Gm for how they portrayed their characters.
Whoops, didn't see this thread before I posted in the other one.
From the other thread:
Darkvoidof40k wrote:Oh, and although I now realise what happened in the event wasn't to your liking, I hadn't really seen much of your character yet so it was hard to decide.
Did you PM them to find out just what they wanted their characters to do in the event? From what they are saying, they both wanted their characters to join forces rather than fight, which makes the outcome of the event somewhat unexpected.

No there were no PMs asking for character actions in the event.

I did quiet a bit of thinking on the situation and basically came to the conclusion it was what Tombstone would have done...and what Daisy would have wanted him to do.
Despite his love for Daisy...or perhaps because of it,Tombstone wouldn't leave her in such a helpless condition in a world gone insane,he knew there was the strong possibility that at some point the commune would be over run,and that he could die in that situation...leaving her to be devoured by walkers with out the ability to even attempt to get away.
Plus Daisy had become quiet the "warrior" character, she would have demanded Tombstone end her life rather than put his at risk over hers.
...Still...not an easy choice...and of course Tombstone is in full Kamikaze mode because of it now.

Yes, yes, guys: I know. The event wasn't all that great, and yes, in future events there will be voting/dice rolling and maybe some other stuff as well.
But, as GM, I will occasionally add some fiction without anyone's concent, and if people don't like it, that's tough.
But I can and do admit that this event didn't go too well.
Please keep in mind a few of you were bugging me for an event, and then bugging me to finish it.
Edit: I did also say earlier that I would prefer it if the OOC chat remained in the RP thread.

@ Dark - Yes you did, but we don't want to clog the thread up with discussion.
And as Gm, it's your responsibility to keep things running smoothly. You gotta step up and take responsibility. If you start an event (which I feel personally the encounter between tombstone and Patrick could have been done without one) you gotta follow it through with maybe 48 hours. Otherwise it seriously causes decrepitude in the Rp.
As for your 'as GM, I will occasionally add some fiction without anyone's concent, and if people don't like it, that's tough.' thing, I really think that it's not up to you. If someone doesn't like what your making their characters do, im sure it's entirely within their rights to Veto it. And apart from killing of characters in an amusing way for stopping posting, I'd really prefer you to ask for their consent.
Food for thought: Your not an overarching power. If you do stuff that people don't appreciate you may end up losing players. From what Fitzz said he wasn't entirely happy with the handling of Daisy for example. Im not saying he's angry at you (Even with a great bushy beard I don't see Fitzz as the begrudging kinda guy) but im sure he might be a bit..
How can I say it without sounding offensive..
Disappointed perhaps.
Again, not saying this stuff to annoy, insult your honour, or hurt your pride, but these things need to be taken into consideration. It's why the last one lasted 50 or so pages, and why other less organised Rps get to about 8.
