I could throw in a wagon but then I would need the KFF Mech for the cover saves. Not to mention 1 wagon is going to get popped rather easy.
If im using Footsloggers, I cant justify dropping their numbers. IMO they need to be 30 Strong to survive the 2 turns of shooting before they get stuck in.
I could drop the Lootas for some warbikers. The Storm boyz IMO should stay 20 strong. Any less and I should just take some Trukk Mobs and call it a day. IMO orks suck under 20.
Are warbikers worth it?
Well, if i was facing a tide of orks, screened by more orks, i would shoot the orks in front. Your cover save idea will not work. And why do you plan on using something relatively expensive, like stormboyz? Why not just get more orks, or better still, gretchin? Or, the best option, scrap your current cover save idea and get a
KFF Mek instead.
Well, i presume your using the biker boss too zoom round and get to big shooty units that'll kill handfuls of orks, that you lootas can't kill? Ok. Thing is, roaming around on his own, he's gonna get shot by a lascannon or something, and that wouldn't be good. If you want something to zoom round and kill threatening units quickly, use the stormboyz, they're perfect for it, especially if you get Zagstrukk to lead them.
So here's the summary, based on the fact you want to keep your numbers high:
Drop bike on boss, and stick him in a boyz squad. Drop enough boyz (perhaps taking 4 or something from each unit) and a few stormboyz to get a Mek with
KFF and Bozz Zagstrukk
Use the stormboys to eliminate shooty threats, and leaving the cover saving to the Mek
