Hi all

I have decided to start a 13th company space wolves army, this will be purely for show not gaming, so it will be heavily converted.
I was wondering if you could help me out by posting pics or sugestions on how to make it as 'fluff' accurate as possible.

Thanks

I assume you know that the 13th Company has quite a few Wulfen wihtin it. The models are OOP, but I found a pic of them for you.

For my space wolves I've converted a couple using beastmen heads with the horns shaved off, and marauder arms - mostly because that's what I had laying around.
I have no idea why I had the bitz, Ive never collected either army.

They dont have to have those ugly heads. Personally Id go marines without helmets and do some badass face painting.

13th company where suppose to be mostly Wulfen with normal SW's as their commanders.

There is a novel about Ragnar Blackmane running into the 13th and is a fantastic way to understand them better.

A lot of their armour is replaced with Chaos armour too.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

Best way to get a 13th company army is mix and matching the parts from the SW battle force and about a box or two of Chaos Space Marines. the CSM battleforce comes with Berserkers and Possessed, but you wont see any trace of those in the 13th company. And like others have said, beastmen parts will come in handy.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

You should try and use Beastmen heads, Catachan arms, Chaos space marine backpacks and bolters, and Greenstuff.

If you go onto 4shared.com, and look for Codex Eye of Terror, you should find a downloadable PDF file that contains examples of the 13th company and how GW modeled them.

Also, for the mods, This site I only recommend to those that want to find OOP books, so there is no problem with it.

If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.
