So I have that Tyranid Splinter Fleet Thanatos blog too, but to separate all other sideprojects from that, I made a new blog. So here I'm going to start with Ordo Xenos Inquisitor and retinue as I got some fine miniatyres for doing that. I love comments and don't mind if I get some : D
After that retinue, I think I should make some background story and then I'm going to move into the terrain side.
Allthought I have many things to do so who knows what I'm doing next. Here is some older conversion threads of mine:

We found some strange bowmen with my friend and I decided to make them as a part of the retinue, here is the starting situation:

Only minor update, but I got that Inquisitor almost painted, just wanted to make some update and C&C, here he is:

I haven't really had time at all to paint those figures above because of school.

But I decided to paint my Cypher and here is some minor update of it! My GF is sleeping in my room now and I can't paint ATM but I think I can finish that figure tonight or tomorrow. Well enaugh of writing, here it is:


So here from the front! I tried to make the "light" to come at the figure from this angle which this photo is taken. And I think I actually made it pretty right.


This figure had lack of right arm, plasma pistol and backbag but I got some SM bitz from my friend and solved the problem out. I tried to make that backbag look bit more CSM than it were because Cypher is one of the Fallen afterall.

Interesting use of woodelves. I like it, no model is safe!!
Not keen on your marines, very static looking compaired to the rest.

Those marines are those Magragge Marines (again) and unlike I wished it was pretty hard to make them look cool. It may be that I cut them in parts and put on my tyranid bases... pretty sure about it..

Updates Updates! Well, I decided to kill my space marines and cut them into pieces but before that I have some things to do.
But here is my Cypher ready and waiting. So sad about that you can't have it anymore in CSM... It is nice model though.

I have just started my new project: Novum Remedum which is Imperial sub-sector in Ultima Segmentum. Sorry for you english speaking fellows, I haven't had time to translate in english yet but I'm going to do it asap..! : D
About that Novum Remedum. Near that area there is renegade chapter Angels Flame which champion of Slaanesh was KIA at the end of the year 941M36. Eventough I wanted to make him 'coz I had a vision of him... and here is WIP:


I forgot backbag of that pal but it is ready too and waiting for painting.. Going to do it in a week I think..

I was all "bleh" til I saw the champion in the last pic. Now I'm excited!


One bit of advice....spit in your fingers and VERY lightly smooth GS work on organic areas. There are a few fingerprints on there that I know from personal experience will look a bit odd once you start washing the model.

I'm suffering a small lack of inspiration but still wanted to paint my Gredakh ready. Well, afterall I just fethed it up but it was to my friend anyway so who cares.

Here you are. I thought the conversion phase went pretty well afterall...

Hi everyone! I managed to try some truescale spacemarines, but afterall it didn't get really bigger than original marine. Only 2-4 mm. It is made of Battle For Magragge space marine. And there is that Black Reach captain guy too painted as a Sons of Nemea chapter:


Here is the captain, Im going to re-paint those yellow things on his chest, but after that he is finished.

I'm not actually happy what this guy came up after all, but the paintscheme is grey so you cant make it really dramatic painting. Tried some battledamage too, haven't done it before..

I bought Crusader Mk. II AA tank and it turned out to be too small for use of Chimera so I made it as fluff-unit. It is now plasmacannon carrier or Self-propelled plasmacannon (SPPC-Mk.III)

I think that that camo came out pretty nicely. I was a bit afraid of painting camo pattern on crew but it turned out to be pretty easy. Or then I just got lucky with my paint mixes!

As I am a man of Warhammer 40,000 fluff I desided to mark this Elite 13 in "my own" sector known as Novum Remedum.

So the regiment known as Elite 13 is inquisitorial regiment formed from two specialized regiments.
Rohstein's 57th Heavy Infantry regiment, or more friendly: Swamp Devils, is regiment formed on death planet Kranum III. Regiment is named after Imperial Generalmajor-Governor Wilfried Rohstein. On Kranum III there is alien race which is totally used by Imperium as training for Imperial Guard. Especially by "Rohstein's regiments". These veterans are finest alienhunters in the ranks of Imperial Guard. Atleast in Novum Remedum.
Rohstein's 57th Heavy Infantry regiment is used by Ordo Xenos, mainly. The Inquisitor Ceridwen Lothringen of Ordo Xenos wanted to form elite regiment for her own purposes and got Kranum III Swamp Devils. In 999M41 Swamp Devils were deployed in Heios system which was invaded by splinter fleet Thanatos' and it's Genestealer Cult.
As a Heavy Infantry regiment, Rohstein's 57th HIR uses lot's of plasma weaponry. These weapons are mainly produced by Anband II forge world. Anband II also produces only for use of Rohstein's 57th HIR heavy plasma cannon carriers which are kind of self-propelled plasma cannons [model above]. It is proved to be extremely effective against flesh and can even bring down Tyranid bio-titans.

Other regiment of Elite 13 was formerly known as Vroheim's 757th Mechanized Infantry regiment or Periphery Militia (which is used of all regiments of Vroheim system).
Vroheim's 757th MIR achieved great victory with Rohstein's 57th HIR on planet agri world Tar Amen after being invaded by Tyranids. But because of lack of support they had to leave the planet on it's doom. This was on 996M41 and after the incident of Tar Amen, Ceridwen Lothringen took these two regiments under her and Ordo Xenos' flag. After that these two regiments are known as Elite 13.
In 997M41 Elite 13 was moved on planet Tar Aman and on which they defeated the Genestealer Cult with help of Officio Assassinorum operative and the second company of Sons of Nemea.

As said earlier, Elite 13 is now located on planet Heios (III) Prime fighting against splinter fleet Thanatos with space marine chapter Sons of Nemea and many other Imperial Guard regiments.

So here are my WIP guardsmen. THey are accomppanied by one Valhallan Ice Warrior who came to me as an extra figure in bargain with some forum-user.
But I have to make 3 more of these guys and then I'll get my brush in my hand and paint these.. Let's wait it to be true.

Here are my already painted men. I have made sceneric base for these guys and the self-propelled plasma cannon too, so I'll post it when I'm done painting.

As I do write that stupid story of sector called Novum Remedum I'm eager to see something concrete. Something more than just pictures, if you know what I mean.

Let me introduce you into Novum Remedum. It is year 999M41 in galaxy where is only war (I just had to say that), okay let get serious. Capitol of sector Novum Remedum was under attack in 998M41 and eventually was overtaken by renegade space marines, Brotherhood of Kjipr, and their chaotic allies like Blaze of Angel khornite warband and millions of imperial guards from many planets, all risen against their authority in An Romos (III) Prime. Imperial Guard of Novum Remedum was making its best destroying splinter fleet Thanatos in Novum Elder sub-sector and couldn't save An Romos from uprising.

Brotherhood of Kjipr, known for plots and tricks, was tzeentchian renegadechapter, originally separated from Sons of Nemea space marine chapter because they didn't want to be assault troopers for young and stupid inquisitors with no combat expierience atall. It was their fault and their Spokesman, Karant Crox who led troops of hive world Krahum-Aurinko against An Romos system.

Blaze of Angel renegade chapter is old and bitter against Novum Remedum, mainly because of same reasons as Brotherhood of Kjipr. Though after 560M41 when Tyr Kromil, chapter master of Sons of Nemea slayed their demon prince chapter master, Lucriel the Fallen, whole chapter lost their will to fight and demanded strong authority to guide them. In time, they were found by Brotherhood of Kjipr's spokesman, Karant Crox, and were attached to brotherhoods troops.

As powerfull planet-governors found out that their authority, An Romos, was fallen, they declared themselves as indenpendent from the grisp of Imperium. This kind of progress was extreme in Idrigov's, Kjipr's and Novum Secundus' sub-sectors. Though "old" sub-sectors, Bassenheim Manor, - Minor and Novum Elder weren't tainted and remained as loyal to Imperium of Mankind. Mainly because of strong influence of Ecclessiarchy and Inquisition.
So it was time of war, as it always was in M41.
Firstly glory-hunger space marine chapter, or what was left of it, Paladin Brethren assaulted into giant starfort near An Romos with inquisitorial elite troops known as Elite 15, leaded by Uther D'Ark.

So my plan, simply, is to make working list of Paladin Brethren SM-chapter. Main problem was firstly colours, but I think I found out pretty nice colours. Here are three already painted marines, or paladins : D



I'm intended to do weather, and battle-worn company of remaining paladins. I think I'm going to write some story, when I have time to that, (and interests). So What do you think about these three fellows? Any improvements in battledamage section. I didn't make much of battle damage on these models, but I do have 17 to go which are bit more damaged..

I think it's converted. If you see closer, you can see a bit of greenstuff. It looks hazy as well, which could indicate glue.

The hand is the kind holding grenade launcher and the hand itself is cut of from high elf archers box's leaders pointing hand. I'm kinda lousy working with greenstuff so I always prefer glue and kitbashing over gs if anyhow possible.

Thanks for comments. I'm kinda tuned in space marines at the moment so there shall be marines on this blog for a while. Three Paladins are undercoated now and I have to add blue and other colours there too..
