Bob Olley used to be a sculptor for GW in the late 80's (I actually just bid on some of his ebay auctions which is how I came about this site)....

The sculpts look pretty nice, and I may be ordering a few just for shenanigans.....

What do you guys think? The rest of his stuff looks pretty nice as well...

This may be the first time the words "Squat" and "Awesome" have ever been placed adjacent to each other in the same sentence.

Those minis do look pretty cool.

Sorry didnt know these had been posted....'I hadnt seen them before and was super stoked as he was one of the first sculptors that got me into GW.....

And +1000 I guess I just have a soft spot for the squats and may think they are awesome forever hahaha....

Not bad. Very good sculpting. Something about them screams dwarf zombies though..

Tiny hands that aren't big enough to hold their weapons properly, tiny feet, over stylised sculpting, non standard weapons (each one is sculpted individually so no uniformity)...

...If you can get past that (and I know a lot of people love the Olley sculpting style) then they are great minis.

I'd probably go for Dvarg if I had to go the Squat route:

I think Bob is a great bloke but I just don't like his sculpting style. I think it is a Marmite thing.
