This is probablly a stupid question, but do the metal storm troopers on gw's site come as one piece ? (from the imperial guard)
i was wondering this because ive seen metal models that you glue.
Im pretty sure they dont come pre painted, so any special kinds of paints i need for them?

Alright bro, take it easy. I answered you question. No reason to raise your...er..Voice.
No, not really. Painting metal is the same as painting plastic, as long as you prime it.
No. Karskins are just the cadian variety of storm troopers. They're exactly the same, game wise. Karskins look way better, IMO. I see no reason to even use the storm trooper models, unless you absolutely hate cadians.

Kasrkins are generally accepted as the newest Stormtroopers. They were made for the Eye of Terror campaign though, and fluff wise are cadia-exclusive. However since the standard Imp Guard army seems to be centrally cadian it's natural to assume Kasrkins fulfill this role in their armies.
As for paints, I find that any acrylic paints will do. I personally prefer dollar store paints as they're just as good as GW variety but alot cheaper. Primer, however, is still best bought at GW.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Really? I'd think it'd be the reverse I've had terrible luck with craft store paints (except black) and excellent results with walmart spray paints...

The kasrkin come in two pieces - the trooper, and his back pack.
GW primer and paint will do.
