What would his stats be?

would he be like a normal space marine and be strength 4? but his weapon counts him as strength 8? etc

I personally think it would be something like this

WS 10, BS 6, S 5, T 5, W 4, I 6, LD 10, SV 2/3

I would give him stats like that because overall he is still a human but he is the emperor so its normal his stats would surpass the normal space marine but not by an over the top.

anyway I thought this would be a fun topic.

also what kind of abilities would he have?

I think definitely t6, and a higher strength. We was better than the primarchs, who were better than most

No he isn't a human.
He is the divine emperor of man kind whose genes created the primarchs whose genes creatd the SM legions.
He is also the most powerful (human) psyker in existance.
Probably just has stats 10 all across the board and special ability roll a dice on roll of 1+ whoever controls the Emperor wins. If there are 2 Emperors everyone loses even if they aren't playing in the same game.

PS this should probably go in proposed rules as... well it's proposing rules for the Emperor

Despite this, he is still a human being, albeit a very powerful one.

Considering he is the 5th Chaos god, he'd be unbalanced and would likely be costing upwards of 600 pts.

He could ONLY be fielded in an Apoc game

I would say his stats are fair just allow his wargear to make up the rest
like what if he had a forcefield that reduces the strength of incoming attacks by like 2 or something thats really good =|

just saying plus whats not to say his psychic powers can enhance himself greatly.

I'd say his statline would be fairly easy to do. Just take Mephiston (great psuedo primarch stat line) and add EW, IC and a 3++ save. Done

That's the same thing Yarrick had in the ed. wasn't it? (The forcefield i mean)
I still think my special rule should be in effect.
If not somethin D strength hits with the apocalypse blast template for a psychic power.

considering what is actually left of his body, I would say put him in a suited up dread (AV 14, 13, 13) and give him 2 DCCWs (or mabey even TCCWs), but give him absolutely remarkable psychic powers with like a 42" anti psycher bubble. Basically make him a durable pain in the ass for your opponent, but not necessarily combat ready.

It would have to be a stellar model.

I mean, you would have to break down in tears every time you looked at it.

I completely agree with you Zane, unless you were to make a pre heresy type model, the dread would be the best bet.

No one ever seems to remember Rogal Dorn having to pull some random Ork off the Emperor, who was getting strangled to death.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I would go with 0s across the board because he is stuck in the golden throne and would die if he wasn't in there.

Pre-heresy Emperor probably has 10 down every single stat, a rerolling 2+ armor save and 2+ invul save, 2D6 armor penetration in close combat that ignores armor and rerolls to wound, Eternal Warrior, and has Yarrick's ressurection ability. He might also have a Psychic Hood count-as and can use every single SM Psychic Power without taking a psychic test (and they cannot be ignored).

Post-heresy Emperor will probably be an AV14 all around vehicle that forces rerolls on all of the opponent's successful rolls against him, gives you rerolls on all of your failed rolls, ignores all special penetration rules, have like a crapload of structure points, and finally probably an apocalyptic blast template psychic weapon that has S10 AP1 that (for non-vehicle models) wounds using the Leadership. Uses normal armor penetration against vehicles.

Ahriman has taken down titans of both the eldar and the arks, the emperor would be even stronger than that.

As a psychic power, you could give him a rule that works like a guided vortex grenade.

Well you better include point cost too because if you're going to make an overpowered character everyone's gonna b#*#* about the point cost and him being overpowered.

And just because he is an almighty psyker doesn't mean he is abnormally tough or strong.

Well the emperor could best Primarchs in tests of strength, and Primarchs are insanely strong, so he would be way beyond abnormally strong. As for point costs, the Emperor would probably cost an upwards of 4000 points or so.
