Yesterday I had pain in my lower right side for the second day. So I went into my local medical clinic and they told me it had probably been my appendix so I went to the emergency room and they started to hook my up to all sorts of stuff like an I.V machine and a heart rate and blood pressure was taken like every half an hour.

Anyway after a piss test and a blood and some kinda x-ray thing they called a cat or cad scan..(something like that). So moving further along...I found that I needed surgery for my appendix..it was inflamed or something so it needed to be removed. So after about seven hours they brought me into the room and I asked how my operation was gonna be done and it was kinda interesting what they told me. I do not remember all the details but it was something like them poking these rods or something into my body in three different areas and filling me with air. I am guessing they uses some kinda camera cutter like you see in some of those medical shows where they slide it in and wiggle it around until it gets where it needed to go and cut and extract the item needed.....or something like that.

Waking up sucked noodles, I tell ya what! I was very sleepy and the back of my mouth was dry as hell but I started feeling better. Anyway I got to walk around a bit and had to keep collecting pee for them so they could rate the I.V intakes and juice I was drinking with what was going out. I am still In a bit of pain but the pills and three or four administrations of morphine and this other stuff I can't remember the name of helped a ton! For a while it even hurt to breathe more than tiny breathes.

Now I am feeling...better? I guess is a word for it? I have no idea how much of my medical bills my Insurance is going to cover exactly since I never used it and I am still kinda new to the insurance thing right now. So I am hoping it will not be much if anything. OHP is what I have and it is suppose to be good insurance...cuz umm...I have money its just that now I am gonna miss out on the rest of the seasonal work I am doing and well, While I have about 11 months to pay off my $600.00 dental bill I got last week. So yeah, Only real income is a seasonal thing I got but I only have a week left. There is a chance they would have kept me or moved me to another department but the suck thing is It requires a lot of lifting which I have been told I cannot do for a while.

Eh...I am sure it will work out. My other bills can be paid easily but I am still kinda sweating the hospital bill because I hear those can be expensive especially if you stay overnight etc....plus I had to eat and drink so I was required to order room service.

Breakfast: Omelet - Mozzarella,Ham,Onion, and some juice and tried sausage but it hurt my belly.

Lunch:Tried something lighter. I had some apple juice and chicken broth.

Well that's about it. I am sure most of you probably could care less and hate me for once again writing out something else to ya that probably hurts your eyes lolz. Now All I gotta do is sit back and try to fully recover and than in the mean time try and figure out what I am gonna do to put extra cash in my pocket to pay off the stuff I owe

Good luck with the insurance. Sounds like you were seen pretty promptly and had a good surgery.

Hope you heal up quickly. Any word on how long you will be out of the game for?

Well, at least you can eat. I could barely eat or talk when I had my tonsils removed. I wish I had them out when I was younger, then maybe it wouldn't have hurt so much.

heh..OW! fething bastards please don't make me laugh...it hurts when I do that.
I do not have a video but yeah it would be cool. You might find some for the type of surgery I had.

I will be out of the game for at least 5 weeks or so. But since I had to shut down my gamestore a few months ago, I am still saving up for game store #2. So until than I am just been painting stuff...still have yet to post my newest and greatest work. :(

Sounds like you had a rather tame surgery, congratulations for that. Waking up from those can be much, much worse. On my second surgery to knit my belly back together - I had a hernia - I woke up in my bed and felt uncomfortable from the beginning. I had to go to the toilet really, really hard, but well, those anaesthetics feth up your bowels so you can't pee if there's some of that stuff left in your system. Sooo...I needed to pee really hard and what really didn't help was that my whole abdominal area was still inflated with air from the surgery. And I couldn't. Rarely felt so uncomfortable in my life. In the end, I called a doctor and he said I should try and get up and go to the bathroom, sometimes the more "used to" aspect of bathrooms should help. Yeah, so I was trying to stand up - a few hours after someone knitted my abdominal tissue back together with a frigging plastic net and with my whole belly area full of air and a drainage coming straight out of my flesh into a bloody bag. Yeah, I felt like a plague marine or something, but plus the uncomfortableness that people have when they don't follow Nurgle. In the end it all worked out, but DAMN, that's a reason why I have a slight preference for local anaesthesia. It doesn't screw up your system that much. (Had surgery 6 times until now, so I can compare things a little bit)

So yeah, hoping you get better soon and feel lucky about your smooth surgery.

Here in the USSEU, we would have gotten it for free and not had to worry about Insurance!

But it sounds like you had the same surgery as my sister did a while back. Not fun, but it's a quick recovery time iirc.

You will probably be out of hospital in five days at most and fully functional in six weeks, depending on age and other factors.

You had better ignore all those Viagra ad emails until Christmas.
