well, theres one for khorne, nurgle and tzeentch but in Codex: daemons theres no named greater daemon for slaanesh

just wandering if any one had any idea why. its a question that been bugging me for a while and it needs answering lol

Maybe because Slaanesh is younger, no famous greater daemons have showed up yet.

Azure yeah but thats only a herald sized one such as skulltaker, epidemi and the blue scribes. I'm on about the greater daemons . the fluff for her is pretty funny though lol

The answer is simple, its hard to live long enough to become a anceint greater daemon when the bloodthirsters kill anything which isn't uber tough, mystical protection, or equally as angry and blood thirsty!

There used to be Azazel, Prince of Damnation (I think he kind of fits in there with greater daemons). Who was in the chaos books for quite a while (but alas, was a fantasy character).

My only guess is that whereas khorne etc like to bestow daemonic ascension on their followers, slaanesh is much more of a people person, and prefers humans (who, to be fair, are probably easier to pleasure than a six-breasted snake-thing with a plethora of genitalia).

I would love to see a new model and some rules for Azazel, Prince of Damnation. the old model looked cool but I never got him :/

I guess your right about humans. wasnt doom rider a spacemarine once or is he just a deamon in armour? which reminds me, thats another model I need to pick up
