I just got 5 AoBR Terminators and I wanna convert one of them into a Librarian in Terminator Armor. I have a bunch of book bitz leftover from the Flagellant sprues I used for my Priest conversions, so I can give him enough bling to look the part. However, for the Force Weapon, I dont wanna use the sarge's Sword. I have another set of AoBR termies and using the same sword seems to diminish the guy's status. I was thinking of using Greenstuff to sculpt some runes on one of the Power Fist arms and turning it into a Force Fist. Game-wise it's still a Force weapon, but would people have problem with that or no? I just want some imput before I commit to the blade. Thanks!

Turning this thread into a WIP thread as the Terminator is well under way. Right now I'm just waiting for the greenstuff to set before assembly and dealing with later details. I'll post some pics later since my camera is still recharging.

As long as you don't call it a Force Fist I'm fine with it... that just sounds like some kind of horrible sex toy.

Here are some photos of it I took. It's not as impressive as the metal one, but I'm aiming low for the first Librarian xP

I used the tutorial for the Librarian holding the fire for the power fist. However I think I failed rather miserably since the putty crumbled (I'm using Mighty putty currently since I cant get greenstuff locally). The psychic Hood was rather a disaster since the first head I carved I carved out the wrong pieces, and this one didnt seem nearly big enough. I'm hoping the books and scroll will make it more apparent that this is a librarian.

I would cover the fist with a storm sheild, then cut off the stormbolter and find a sword you think is suitable. for that hand.

yeah I forgot to look at the codex when I built this, and assumed that it came with a storm bolter as standard. I still have a Thunder Hammer arm and Storm Shield arm left, and I could always use two Librarians in Terminator Armor.

Update. Got ride of the Force Fist and gave him a Force Spear and Storm Shield.

Right now I'm conflicted on how to paint him. My Chapter Colors are black with red shoulderpads and gold trim. I want to paint the librarian in mostly red with a single black shoulder pad. I dont really like the blue of the standard Librarian, as it reminds me too much of the Ultramarines.
