Hi, I'm new to Warhammer fantasy and I got a dwarf lord. Since it came with no base (either that or I lost it somehow and can't remember), I'm wondering what sort of base it should be on. Is it the regular square 25 mm ones?

If I remember correctly dwarves use the 20mm base rather than the larger 25mm one.

It's 20mm square unless he's on shieldbearers. Then you have to kluge together a couple of single bases to make a 40mm x 20mm.

Or he can do it the easy way and go for a single 40mm square base.

Remember when they made those(or were they 80x20mm)? I think it was around the time the older multipart Skaven came out so you could have 3 or 4 models attached to a single long base for the middle/back of large units.

Thanks, I actually meant 20mm, I got confused with the default for 40k being 25mm.
