As in, how many Titans of each kind do they typically have? And do they have any Infantry Companies as well, or is it pure Titans?

Typically

0-1 Imperators

1-5 Warlords

5-10 Reavers

up to 15 Warhounds

around 10-20 thousand Skittarii

plus support staff and attendant fleet.

each legion is different. Legions assigned to protect forges tend to be smaller then offensive legions.

It depends on what Titans the legion contains (i.e., there are going to be more Titans in a Warhound Titan Legion than a Warlord Titan Legion (probably)). As for infantry, it probably has Techpriests/ marines and servitors to bless and repair the titans and many, many Skittarii.

I totally forgot

there are different types of legions too.

Scout legions(will have large numbers of Warhound titans) tend to be fast and mobile. they specilize in hunting ground forces and mobbing larger titans.

Line legions(will have larger numbers of Reavers) are the largest group. they take on ground forces and other titans in equal measure.

Heavy line legions(large numbers, relativly speaking, of Warlords and are usually the place to see an Imperator) face other titans and take part in sieges. require heavy skittarii support as the larger titans have trouble engaging small targets.

I would think this would be the other way around considering Forges tend to be able to support Titans more easily. Logistically it would be easier to move a smaller number of titans for offensive situations. Do you have a source? (i'm not disagree-ing with your statement, I am curious)

Each Forge World has a Titan Legion.
This Legion is under the command one it's well Commander whatever title they hold (First Princeps i think)
This commander must follow the orders of whoever is in command of the Forge World.
Meaning that when a legion goes to war they leave behind a garrison in case of an attack.
Such is the case in Titanicus.
Who, i add, had many more titans than the numbers mentioned here so far... actually they had a rediculous amount of titans but go figure.

No, not every Forge World has a Titan Legion. In Imperial Armour 1 is a list of some of the major Forge Worlds and only half of them are home of a Legion.
The size vary from Legion to Legion.
For example Legio Ordo Sinister consists only of 12 Titans, but they´re all Imperator-class Titans (WD 178)
On the other hand Legio Destructor can field over 100 God Engines of all classes (Codex Titanicus).

Surprise is an insubstantial blade, a sword worthless in war.
It breakes when troops rally. It snaps when commanders holt the line.
But fear never fades.
Fear is a blade that sharpens with use.
So let the enemy know we come. Let their fears defeat them as everything falls dark.

It's worth remembering that rarely do Legions fight together - it's much more normal to have three or four titans 'detached' to accompany an Imperial force.

there isn't anything spelling it out.

it is just my conjecture from what i know about titan legions.

Imperators are so stinking rare that you will never, and i mean NEVER, see more then 1 at any one time. they are spread out everywhere accross the Impierium where their might is more effective.

the best answer is that it varies depending on the supply avaliable to a particular legion and its supporting forge(s) and will vary over time with losses and replacements.

For example Legio Ordo Sinister consists only of 12 Titans, but they´re all Imperator-class Titans (WD 178)

The Ordo Sinister:
The Ordo Sinister is the most elite and senior Divisio Mandati Titan order of the Collegia Titanica, and consists of only twelve Imperator class Titans. Under the command of its renowned Grand Master Ferromort, the Ordo Sinister's purpose is simple: to inspire terror and obedience in those who wish to rebel against the the Pax Imperium, to enforce with the strength of steel the words of the Adeptus. In this respect the Legion often works in conjunction with the Adeptus Arbites, the Inquisition and the Ecclesiarchy. The carefully planned assaults of Grand Master Ferromort are famous for their precision, ferocity and flawless execution. Great pains are taken to use the Legion as an example of implacable and faceless Imperial efficiency.

In "persuading" particularly unruly governors to submit to Imperial will, the Legio Ordo Sinister has destroyed hundreds of supposedly impregnable fortresses and palaces. The Legion remains an instrument of precision for the Imperium - a well-honed saber rather than the sledgehammer of planetary bombardment or the broadsword of Space Marine intercession.

To be fair even if it was 1 Imperator Titan it could probably take over a planet.

I kind of want to make an Imperator, but I seriously doubt I could make a good looking one just out of styrofoam and plasticard. Have any of you ever seen one in full scale that looked as good as the official Epic model?

Eh, nevermind.

Not sure what you mean but i think you mean a servitor.
Servitors are basically lobotomised humans that can follow basic orders and are sometimes specialised in a certain field e.g. medical servitors.
Sometimes the humans used in the creation of servitors are convicts that have commited crimes against the AdMech and other times they are vat grown humans that are brain dead anyway.

Skittarii are the foot troops of the Titan legions.

they begin as humans, but they progress with a series of Genhancements and Bionic additions so that eventually they become hulking monstrosities capable of ripping a Space Marine in half.

it is now they actually join offensive legions. before they become more then augmented humans they tend to just guard forges.

at some point some might recieve more augmentations and heavier weapons incorperated into their bodies. now they are called Praetorians and they act as the elite shock troops often having massive powerclaws.

There is also Cataphractii(IIRC) that are the heavy weapons platforms and they are supported by artillery and tanks while carrying massive guns themselves.

Robots are something that the fluff has sort of forgotton.

In the days of rougue trader, you could take them on the battlefield as part of an imperial force. You had to give them orders and plan their battlefield role in advance for the whole game by issuing them programmes or orders.

I'm not sure but I think the fluff these days says that there was some sort of revolt amongst the robots that the imperium put down and they are no longer used.

They do feature in the HH books as par tof the TS legions arsenal.

Edit - BTW your first link isn't working.

the Iron Men.

during the Dark Age of Technology(20-30th millenium) there were hyper intelligent AI robotics created to work for humanity. there were worker and soldier robots.

predictably, they became smart enough to decide they didn't want to serve mankind.

a great war was undertaken between the Iron Men and Mankind. a war that mankind won, but much technology was lost and humanity has had a superstition against fully autonomous AI ever since. Servitors were invented to combat the weakness of AI. the servitor will eventually lose it's flesh parts to decay and a human is required to create one.
