That is bad news. They make all my favorite games. Hopefully they can figure out some viable path forward.

...not to mention that they also still owe me (and a lot of other people!) a lot of things via crowdfunding campaigns waiting to be fulfilled...!

Yep, I’m owed a lot of product from them as well!

This is nearly worst case scenario as far as my hobby is concerned.

Thankfully no matter what happens I can enjoy ASOIAF for years to come along with various versions of Zombicide, Bloodrage, Project Elite, and several seasons of Death May Die.

All excellent games, and I’ve managed to grab most of the things I want for them!

I guess I could even break out Trudvang and see if it is any good (I doubt it).

Hmmm, maybe i should try completing my ASOIAF collection before its too late

I've bveen grabbing everything I might ever want as they become available. The game woul dhave ended eventually, as a licenced IP. It's just happening a lot earlier than expected.

The ASOIAF minis are my favorites. Nice low fantasy designs, good scale for fantasy gaming, huge variety, very affordable, pre-assembled, good to great detail, plastic making easy conversions, they are everything I want.

ASOIAF is such a cool game. An interesting take on rank and flank.

I wish my local community was more into it. Luckily my FLGS does have a decent stock of the models so maybe I'll grab a box or two. If not for the game, I can use them in Ranger of Shadow Deep or Frostgrave.

The War Council app for ASOIAF has been removed from the Apple Store and, not sure if just me, has been automatically deleted from my phone.

Frustratingly, I have most of my collection packed away in many boxes in the attic and was using the app to keep track of my collection. So I now have no idea what units I am missing.

Yep. I believe it’s also the official way to get the updated unit and tactic cards.

A good number of people mentioned that it was gone from the Apple Store over on the game's subreddit. It was speculated that since you have to pay a fee to be on the Apple Store, CMON just didn't pay the fee this year. Which seems plausible.

I looked further, The app is still on my phone, but all my data is gone.

I enjoyed the game and we had a decent community in Saint Louis, until the power gamers from 40K decided to join in. It killed the joy of the community. Great models, fun game sad to see it dying. I was pretty sure this was going to be the outcome when the .stls for alternative models went on sale.

TL: DR - sales are way down with almost no crowdfunding income still blaming tariffs, costs greatly exceed income, current liabilities greatly exceed current assets, cash on hand has more than halved, company is highly geared. Staff numbers are only down by 4 so at least that's a positive. I don't see any mention of the funds raised from the IP sale in the interim report so no idea what's happened to that.

6 month results

Revenue $3,433,655 down from $15,916,225 same period last year - $3.4m is from wholesale primarily from Asia and Europe markets, North America = $668,501.

Revenue decreased by approximately 78.4% from approximately US$15.9 million for the six months ended 30 June 2024 to approximately US$3.4 million for the six months ended 30 June 2025, mainly due to the tariffs war which forced the Company to reduce
its sales in crowd-funding platforms significantly.

Cost of Sales $4,196,326
General Admin costs $4,369,364
Other Costs $2,589,447

Loss for the first 6 months $6,976,247

Current assets $4,291,950 including Cash and cash equivalents $904,326 down from $2,097,742
Current liabilities $14,590,549 including Contract liabilities $12,969,354

As at 30 June 2025, the gearing ratio of the Group, calculated as total liabilities divided by total assets, was approximately 67.9% (31 December 2024: approximately 47.6%).

As at 30 June 2025, the Group had 77 employees (30 June 2024: 81)

Oof. Those are some rough cash flow numbers. I’m surprised they have such a large staff given marketing and community interaction was always basically non existent.

Tariffs *are* shutting down poorly run companies. We had a few threads on this on the LeadAdventurers forum.

Not going to miss CMON and dodged a bullet with Massive Darkness 3. While they're competent, their relationship with customers I'd describe as cold and impersonal.

Maybe they'll resurface as an adjunct to SPIN Master game and toys into the hobby market. Dunno.

Well, customers had a good run for at least a decade and some good games and minis released over the years. It obviously still sucks royally for those with outstanding pledges on more recent campaigns and I've been there with my first (and only) crowdfunder myself all those years ago.
