2 Quick questions straight to the point.

1. When 2 Ig infantry platoon squads deploy as one (Using combined squad rules) does that mean i could have a unit of 18 normal guardsmen, 2 sargents and 2 commissars?

2. When using Al'Rahem, his whole platoon has to outlfank, do you roll the dice to deploy form outflanking for the entire platoon or the individual squads (And risk them being split up)?

Thanks in advance.

1. Yes. These are "blob squads" in parlance

2. They are individual units, so while they turn up frmo reserves on a single dice (due to Platoon rules) you then roll for each unit seperately. Yes, they can end up split up...

Thanks for the quick response, quick question off that. If the 2 infantry units in Al'Rahems platoon were a combined squad I would only roll once for the infantry blob and once for the PCS when it came to decide which border edge they deployed onto?

Yes, as they are a single unit - each unit rolls to see whcih edge it comes on from.

You could bring 55 guys on (5 commisars, 50 guard) one a single roll this way, and just start pounding a flank...

Edit: Ignore my original point I misread the end of the OP's post.
