Hi all:

We are running our next 40K RTT Sunday the 21st. 10am start, doors open at 9am.

3 rounds, 1850 points. $10 entry or $20 purchase.

Prizes top the top 3 players. $90/$40/$20 in store credit.

We filled up on the last one, and while I don't expect it to be as full, please sign up and let us know if you plan on making it.

While I cant make it due to family obligations, I recomend it to whoever is in the area. A well run tournament, a nice FLGS, and very nice patronage.

Yeah, I'm in Minnesota right now but I highly recommend their tournies. They're well run and fun and the guys that play there are cool. Sorry to miss it. Maybe when I get back in January

Yeah Grim, unfortunately I'm gonna have to miss it cause I'm working 12 hour days/7 days a week for the next 2 months halfway across the country. I should be back for the Grand Prix though

How is the scoring? Just battlepoints or top 3 overall scores?

Only battlepoints are used to determine winners and just top 3 from what I remember from past tournaments. It's a great store and good fun I recommend all go! I am definitely planning on going myself!

It looks like me and one of my pals will be making it, even if that delinquent Dok will be too hung over to carpool with me. I need to get my feet wet with a tournament one of these days and I think Sunday will be it.

Thats what we'llbe doing for this one. I do give extra points for painting when not picking a best painted/modeled army. So players will get 3 extra points for a fully (or near fully) painted army.1 point for a mostly (about half) painted army. 0 points for an unpainted or less than half painted army.

We will change it up now and again, but will definately put it in the post when we are giving extra prizes away or points for other stuff.

Very excited! Just finished my dread last night for play.

My friend will have the day off so there is +1 for me as well.

I will have to be a -1 since I am stuck working Sunday morning.

Sadly, I will have to miss another oppurtunity to banish Blackmoor back to the abyss that is Arizona again.

There might be 1 more of our crew coming with us, so save 1 (rather large) spot for him, if possible.
He has to do some 0th hour modeling to make sure his army is legal, so he might not be able to make it.

Looks like my work obligations may have gotten messed up, so I may be able to make it as well if you still have room for more.

I wonder if all of The Chosen guys will be there.

cgage00, How did you do against spmusubi's killer gaurd list in that first game? I had to leave but as a fellow ork player I was rooting for ya. It didnt look to good for you though (my orks have only taken that list once).

I demand to know what the results of this RTT are. I want results now.

If I'm not mistake, results were:

Erik (spmusubi) came in first with Mech Guard
Adam (mortetvie) came in second with Saim Hann Eldar
Josh (I think) came in third with Blood Angels

I was sitting pretty after Round 1, only to go up against Josh in a modified KP mission and Erik's Guard in Round 3.

Overall I had 3 fun games against great opponents and look forward to their next tourney.
