If you could built one unit from any codex to be your scariest united ever, what would it be, no point restriction. I will start

30 x Death Company
-30 x Jump Packs
-15 x Thunder Hammers
-15 x power swords
- 6 x Infernus Pistol
-Lemartes, Guardian of the lost

Mind you, this Unit is somewhere in the area of 1600+ points by itself. But Personal this unit would scary the piss out of me if I seen it on the field. Let me hear your thoughts guys.

uber space wolves unit in a Land Raider crusader (with Ragnar etc....) must be a pretty scary thing to face

a 50-man power blob with yarrick, a lord commissar, and 5 priests. 21 rerollable power fist attacks, 40 rerollable power weapon attacks, 90 rerollable chainsword attacks, all in a 45-abblative wound package.

Oh, and it scores.

Oh, and yarrick has 3+ bionics...

150 automatic strength 4 hits on a unit of 10... They didn't like that much...

Melissia, in my dream world where I have infinite money, I play apoc with 50 fully kitted out platoons like the one you posted.
In reality, I dream of someday playing apoc with one of those, as an 'ally' to my main force.

why do you want stikkbombz with a powerklaw squad
I think Nob bikers are better with 1-3 PKs...there S4 base aren't they? so with normall choppas (and the pistol weapon) its 5 S5 attacks on the charge?

Give them Big Choppas and they'll attack at normal initiative with increased strength, but it's not a power weapon.

1-3 Wolf Lords on Thunderwolves and 5 regular wolves with differentiated wargear.

I've yet to be able to tackle a unit like that in an efficient manner. I remember when I played my all CC deathwing army against a unit like that. I congratulated my opponent on a victory before the game even started.

I can tackle that army in an efficient manner. Use a throwaway squad of guard to absorb their assault, then focusfire on them on your next turn. Hehe.

I killed the squad before it did TOO much (wrecked a Fire Prism) but I spent 4 turns running away from it, and my 7-8 grav tanks manged to put a couple wounds on the squad, but not actually kill anything. In order to kill it, I had to unload every squad I had from my transports, doom them, and then bladestorm. Then my fragile troops were left exposed on the last turn of the game, with no way to even defend themselves. Because I'd spent the entire game running away, I was now woefully out of position to capture objectives, and my infantry were gobbled up by Grey Hunters.

Twas the last time I played my Mechdar.

Tau Ethereal. Hands down.
