First Post!

Anyway, I was wondering how if there is a way to make a clear space marine.
I know I would have to make a mould, two halves of the body, one for the base, and one for the gun. (If I was using the basic snap together models)
What would I use for the mould and for the clear stuff. And how to tint it, like a green?

Kind of like the markers/counters gw makes.

Any Ideas?!

There are a few casting resins like Easy Cast that can accept pigments for you to make transparent models. They have their own specially designed pigments too.

Also this should go in the main modelling and painting forum, not the tutorials.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Well, someone should move it then...

Wait a minute....
What would I make the mould out of?
The easy cast stuff?
Then cut it in half, then pour a green-ish resin into the moulds?

I think you may want to Google resin casting miniatures. It's not quite as basic as you are asking...you may want to get more of an overview of the process first and then ask more specific questions.

Here's one tutorial:

Technically, it's illegal to create a cast of someone elses model, especially one of GWs. I'd stop now.

Why does it matter, it's illegal to eat on orange while bathing in California iirc, you think I'm gonna get lifetime if I get my Vitamin C while cleaning myself?
