A simple question really: What is the best army?

I realize that how they're played makes a difference, but if the generals both play the best they can.
Also not: This is mainly from a power point of view, but also coolness and whatnot could count.

There is no auto win armys/lists, so there is no real answer to your question.

Except Leaf blower and LF ML spam lists... unless they fight each other

I'm not sure where the whole "there's really no tiers you just need to believe in yourself!" thing comes from. Some codexes are straight up older and worse than others, and therefore the armies will be worse.

Right now I'd say IG is the best, and then BA, though I have never faced the latter.

Imp gaurd are the best. All that they do is stand in one place and shoot. Thier army list is simple and thier tactic wait until shooting phase

The "Simplest" army to play is guard. Target priority? Whatever, shoot.

Now if your a really good player, then I would have to say blood angels are quite powerful, but you can't make near as many mistakes as you can with guard.

I think if their is a 'best' Its Guard.....

Good players, will win most of the time with well build Space Wolves, Blood Angels and DE lists.
And of course Good (or very good) players will win a lot of the time with well built lists from any codex (EVEN NECRONS)

But like the above post, simplest army to play must be Guard, the amount of tanks you can take in 1500points+ is far too high....And most of them are full of troops as well.....

Best at Daemonhunting?
Daemonhunters.
Best at making armour with nipples on?
BA (Also i wonder how they do that)
