There are no models for Wracks yet.
I use Warriors to proxy them. But at tourneys this could cause problems.
Any ideas?

Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

I think a conversion based of the Archo Flagellant might be a good idea. I was thinking of that.

Wow, a use for Archo Flagellants....

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

I was planning to use the old style DE grotesques as wracks given that the new grotesques are supposed to be much bulkier.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

I've converted mine from Vampire Counts crypt ghouls (torso, arms), lower bodies from Empire Flagellants, and closed helmets from wyches and Reavers. I made the Liquifier guns from a base of the Raider splinter rifles in holsters, adding them on as an extension of the Wrack's arm. For the Acothyst, I converted a wych hydra gauntlet into a "Flesh Gauntlet" through lopping off spikes and adding some greenstuff. Added a couple chains, etc. to models that needed a little love, greenstuffed in some fo the joins between torsos and legs, as needed. Also made haemonculi using Flagellant legs, wych torsos, warrior arms, and ghoul heads.

Overall, pretty easy. I had the crypt ghouls on hand from a Chaos project and bought the Flagellant bodies from a bit retailer. Not a cheap option, but they look damn sweet, IMO. I'd post a couple pix, but I'm at work, not near my stuff.

EDIT: for proxies... something like zombies, ghouls, Plaguebearers, etc. should be fine. 40K-specific, perhaps Necron Flayed Ones, assuming you can find any.

90% of units confirmed to get models until June, including Wracks.
If you are in a hurry and don't mind to first buy proxies and soon afterwards the real thing, look at Dirz models, for tourneys Ghoul conversions.

I've actually been having some success with Privateer Press Cryx Mechanithralls, with Chaos Warrior heads with the horns cut off. Just like the overall look to them I guess.
