Me and a friend are building the entire Ultramarine chapter including all the vehicles and may even get all 27 thunderhaws ordered from Forgeworld. I have a delima currently the codex it says their trim is ultramarine blue. Rather boring on a ultramarine blue model for obvious purposes, I was wondering if any of you had a good blue color that would look good on them. The codex shows on page 112 a good color I would love to use but cannot seem to find a good mix or a blue that matches it. If anyone knows how to get this color please let me know thanks.

This will take several years to complete sadly as me and my friend have average jobs so we are just doing it as we can. We are getting much of the chapter from Forgeworld as we do not want them all to be the same and one of the pages of the codex shows armor makeup of the second company, of which only half is out of tactical boxes the remainder is only available via Forgeworld. It is a huge endevour but should be worth it in the end- the 2nd, 3rd and half the 4th and 5th are done. We are having Cassius have a small army of sternguard as the codex describes him as having pulled tyranid vets into his own army of which i have only 10 of the 50 modlels I am using for them. basicly if it shows it on the chapter organization page it will be in the army, exept the 13,00 chapter serfs since they are non-combatents. I will post pictures of some of the companies we have done when I have time.

I honestly think, maybe you guys should scale bakc the expectation a little...why not just begin with a company and then see if you have the energy for an entire chapter. I look foward to seeing your progress

I have next 3 days off I will try and post pictures if possible. We have 2 companies assembled and majority of them painted and I will get as many pictures as possible of them.

Thanks for replying everyone. I am going to the other guys house tommarow who is doing this with me and I will post the 2 command squads and a couple other squads pictures tommarow. The squad markings and Ultramarine markings are done on very few of them but we are hoping every marine will have marking when we finish.

How about some strike cruisers and battle barges?
