Overall, I'm quite happy. Oa looks good, as does Kilowog, and I'm quite liking the uniform and ring affects thus far, and that's with X months to work on them still. I worry, slightly, that Ryan Reynolds will really just be playing..well... Ryan Reynolds.. but we'll wait and see.
I doubt they will, but it would be nice if they at least made reference to some other aspects of the DC universe.

The villian is Hector Hammond. Parralax won't be popping up this soon. Showing the heroic Sinestro (as he started in the comic) will just make it that much more tragic when he does fall.

Wow that synopsis sounds lame. I don't think Mr. Two Guys Girl and a Pizza Place is a particularly good actor, unless this is supposed to be a comedy of course.
