So I have almost finished painting my very first unit - 20 Boyz! I don't know how to paint their teeth though, should I use Skull White or Bleach Bone? I feel like Skull White with a pretty generous application of Devlan Mud would be good, do you think it would look nice? How do you paint the teeth of your orks?

I paint them with bleached bone and then a thick wash of or two of devlan mud. If I'm feeling confident I'll play around with highlighting a little with bleached bone mixed with a little skull white.

Another more natural/neutral approach is Dheneb stone base, sepia wash to yellow them, highlight with dheneb, then devlan wash at the bottom to shade. You can skip the sepia and highlight stage if you want an easier and dirtier look.

Over black primer, I use deneb stone, then wash once with a highly thinned out dark brown mix, or twice with delvan mud

I have not painted ork teeth before, but if I was to paint them I would start with a mix of vomit brown/bleached bone, then highlight up to bleached bone, go over it with a wash of delvan mud, and them add another highlight of bleached bone and a final highlight of a bleached bone/skull white mix.

Thanks for the tips guys, since I'm still a newbie when it comes to painting I think I'll start out easy with Dheneb Stone, Bleached Bone and Devlan Mud (not necessarily in that order) and just figure out what looks best

I use bleached bone, with a highlight of skull white, simple but effective, remember you are gonna have to do 20!

Hm. I imagine Orks as not having the best dental hygiene around, so if I were to paint Ork teef (that's how it's spelled), I'd either use Skull White with HEAVY washes of Devlan Mud and Gryphonne Sepia, or I would use Dheneb Stone, Bleached Bone and a Skull White highlight, all with a Devlan Mud wash.

Orks are not noted for their worry about hygene, and they do use them as currency when they fall or, are knocked out of their mouths. Make the teef dirty looking and you win.
