Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Hey folks!

I've been looking at the beast packs available in the new codex, and pondering how to do some conversions since we don't have models.

I have 5x Warp Beasts (and a beastmaster) from the old codex.

I was thinking of the possibility of the Dark Eldar taming hormagants. Perhaps leashing them, or muzzling them or something - but having hormagants as khymerae.

In terms of the razorwing flock; I wish there was something like a ripper swarm with wings. I was thinking perhaps using Chaos Furies or Tyranid Gargoyles....

I don't feel like I need to be restricted to GW models.....I'd welcome brainstorming ideas!

These http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440103a&prodId=prod1050056 as razorwings and these as http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440103a&prodId=prod1050048 as khymrea.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

For Razorwings, how about looking for some of the old Necromunda Ripper Jack models on ebay

If you want some cheap Razorwing flocks your best bet is some of the many bird models that Reaper makes. You can get many of them for less than $2. I personally like the idea of razorwings represented as types of birds, instead of bats.

I'm currently taking commissions.

For razorwings, Reaper's Familiar Pack 8 has three birds in it: vulture, raven, and falcon. Also has a mini-dragon. There's also the Baby Dragon set that would make for a decent razorwing set - two to a blister.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
