What does Dakka donate to others? Money? Clothes?

I donate blood. Minor discomfort is more than made up for by free biscuits

I used to give blood but the company stopped running that scheme.

I donate cash to various charities, partly through straight gifts and also through Gift Aid. This is a UK scheme whereby the tax paid on your admission ticket to a charitable museum or attraction is reclaimed by the charity.

This year, among other gifts, I have donated £50 to Bovington Tank Museum's "Keep our Tiger roaring" fund.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

OH yeah! I donate a couple bags of old clothes every year also. I completely forgot.

My family does Operation Helping Hand when we can. We haven't lived on a military base for awhile though so we haven't participated in awhile. We do stuff with the Red Cross and Salvation Army too, and some Christian charity, the name of which I don't know but that does stuff in the 3rd world to provide food and clothes.

I don't have the finances to realistically donate to anybody, but I'll proudly say that the place I work (a bakery) donates anything that doesn't sell to Feeding America.

Forever alone

My family donates to a child in Zambia. Been doing it for around seven years now, and her life is a lot better. She even sends letters sometimes.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
