Subject: How to model Tau Devilfish SMS?

So I'm building a Tau army and there'll be three Devilfish transports in it. The list that I'm developing will usually field the 'fishes with the Smart Missile System (SMS) but the Devilfish kits don't come with the SMS pieces. My Hammerhead does (and I hear that the Skyray does as well) but how do you guys model the SMS on your Devilfish? Do you just scour eBay and Bartertown and such, do you build something from scratch, or are you just not as much as a WYSIWYG nerd as I am?
Thanks for the help.

I am building mine from scratch.
I don't like the GW design.

A little Green Stuff, a Gun Drone, and 2 Missile Pods from the Crisis Sprue will make a convincing looking SMS. I have a few of these as backup in case I go heavy on Devilfish in a particular list. True SMS are somewhat hard to find.

I'm not convinced by the standard hammerhead SMS. there doesn't seem to be any way of reloading the pods and, to me at least, 6 missiles seems a little light for such a rapid fire weapon. Hence I whomped my own set up based on a spare pair of Broadside SMS, some spare Crisis missile pods and the Hammerhead wing mounts with targetter thingies. They look a bit more rocket poddy than the original.

Those are really cool, but I'm having a hard time finding extra missile pods, even on eBay. I may end up making something from scratch, maybe make it once and then cast some resin copies.

Why not buy any Crisis suits that you are going to have in your army first, and use the missile pods from them? (If you don't use them on the Crisis suits that is....)
I know it's not going to be want you wanted to hear, but it's one way of getting missile pods. But don't do it if you aren't going to have Crisis suits in your army. (Although I'll be happy to take the Crisis suits off of your hands. )
Good luck.

Unfortunately, I'll be using the missile pods in my Crisis boxes, as I'll mainly be building Fireknife suits. But I think I have an idea for a scratch build solution.

That would be the best thing to do.
The GW missile pods are fairly dull, compared to Gundam pods.
