Do you get shield save (not parry) against impact hits if you have a two handed weapon? What about other hits inflicted during the combat phase like iridescent corona or the skaven magical banner?

This is... iffy. I am going to assume the answer is "no", as you're locked in combat and thus cannot use your shields even with the impact hits "distributed like shooting" (or whatever the wording is). Something like Fanatics, meanwhile, I would argue for shields being useable, as you aren't actually engaging the Fanatic (you're more bracing tight and hoping it doesn't come near you, planning to jump anyways if it does).
However, don't take my word for fact. Other DakkaDakka members can answer the question with much more security in the answer.

Just because it distributes like shooting, doesn't make it shooting.
You choose what you're starting with at the start of combat, if you have a great weapon, you cannot choose a shield. (unless you also had a spear, or other special 1 handed weapon).
If you're not fighting with the shield, you don't get the save in close combat. If you charged through a fanatic, I'd say you get the shield (though it only matters if you're an iron breaker, chaos warrior, or questing knight).
If you landed on the fanatic, I'd say you don't get the shield, just as you don't take the panic test for losses (since you are in close combat).

Then how the hell is that different then it being normal combat attacks? They say it is distributed like shooting so you can use a shield because they can be used for shooting.

No, they say it is distributed like shooting to avoid the "allocation" requirement in Close Combat Attacks.
It means you cannot hurt an attached character if there are at least 5 RnF models in the unit, for example.

As Nosferatu said, "Distributed like shooting" is to prevent targeting individual models. If such were not the case, a charging chariot that hit base-to-base with an enemy Lord inside a regiment could go "I'm placing my D6+1 S5 hits against your Lord". By being distributed as shooting, they hit the overall rank-and-file instead (until unit size is brought below a certain amount).

Right, but being distributed like shooting doesn't say anything about whether you can use them against those hits in the close combat phase. Anyone know anything in the BRB that speaks to this?

Bottom of page 71 "..Impact Hits are Close Combat attacks.."
So no shield.

But you would get a shield against other things in close combat phase like the skaven banner and corona?

Sure, if you're fighting with the shield. But you aren't. You've selected (or been forced to select) great weapon.
Read page 89. If you have a special close combat weapon, you must fight with it in the close combat phase.
If it is my turn, and you have a unit in base to base with me, with a shield and a great weapon, as soon as I say my magic phase is done, those guys toss their shields and grab the great weapons. As this starts at the start of the phase, it would occur before the step of pick a combat to fight.
Likewise, if you read the rule for Requires Two Hands (page 75), you'll see that the warrior either slings it onto his back, or drops it until the fight is over.
Once you hit melee, you have no way to gain that shield bonus, unless you are actually using the shield.

That's what I think, just trying to get some support in the rules.
