It's been done a million times before(or maybe not a million but whatever) A rebel grots list. But I'm looking for opinions on three possible ideas to make grots viable(IE not having a big list of hundreds of gretchin with out having to use a count as for a different army).

First Idea- Use grot heads, put them on Ork bodies, make it a themed army around the fluff of the grots having found out a chemical solution that transforms them into bulked out grots. IE justifying a "grot boy" having the same stats as a Ork Boy.

Second Idea- Warp Grots Same thing as before except instead of being via a chemical agent/reaction it would be giant red mutated grots.

Third Idea- Grots get a hold on mind control technology of sorts. Each and every ork model is modeled to have a "mind control device" wired into his head, and every few models has grots on there back or on there shoulders controlling a wired in device.

Just looking for opinions on this, Will have sample pictures in the nearish future. Also, not looking for "stupid idea" without a justification as to why you think it isn't a good idea.

Your third idea is awesome. It would be great to see grots "driving" orks around the battle field.

You could just model the Grot with tons upon tons of armor and call it a boy, or an 'ard Grot. The Boss can be represented by a "Mega Armor Grot", which would in actuality only have 'Eavy Armor. Grot Tanks can fulfill Trukks and Wartracks, and so on (basically downgrade everything to fit "grot" sizes).

+1 to this idea. Be to get the height of an ‘ard Grot in synch with a boy so no one calls LOS cheese at a group of 'ard Gots in cover.

Just use the mad doc and make a grot army with +5 invun saves, then just transplant grot heads on mega nobs, use killa cans and those heavy weapon batteries and toss in a big mek or two for good measure.

Edit: You know some of the grot models could very easily pass for "counts as" kommandos.

Grots for troops with Grotsnik to give them all cybork bodies. Heavy support is all kans or kannon batteries, as they're all grot operated. Elites can be Mega Armored Nobz, done up either as tiny killa kans, MAN bodies with grot pilots driving them, or grots on top of each other.

here's my grot model "Bannerboy" like a little mascot I have him at every ork battle i play, Just sitting watching from the sidelines.
I used a space marine body and arm, his tiny head poking out the top..
his banner has the icons from the armys we have faced
