If the film doesn't have orks talking in their 'mockney' accents then perhaps the marines will. Bit like some of the voices in 'Rome'.

Indeed this movie work is coming along nicely. Facial animations are set, testing of the actor to software is showing hope.. Also the concept art is pimping as well, lots of it done for 3d modeling purposes.

Pardon me for asking, but does anyone know when this movie is going to be released?

No kidding. Seeing the current progress though, a 2010 release is highly unlikely.

So roughly 2 years... that would give the deveopment crew a LONG time to perfect a masterpeice (we hope). Already they seem to be working hard on the tech to make their bold space marines screaming loudly with perfect lip snycing. If the movie will be equal quaility of the dawn of war intro's then i will be a happy man (love both the intros, the extended one for no.2 takes the cake).



Still... nothing about the basic story on what the ultra's are going to be fighting, why and how. Personaly, if i was in charge i would just make the 40K version of black hawk down.

I imagine they'll want a fairly inhuman villain, so it'll either be Macragge vs. Tyranids or Black Reach vs. Orks

I'd love an adaptation of the first Uriel Ventris short story, but if that was the case, it'd be Graham, not Dan writing it.

The armory seems lacking in detail when compared to a bolt casing.

Some nice stuff in there - and at least the bolter looks like a bolter!

Most of the pics are very cool, but doesn't the Strike Cruiser proportions seem a bit weird? Looks like it has oversized elements, a bit cartoonish.

Space marine bobbleheads.

They actually got John Hurt, pretty good pull I think.
