As your men fortify the base you notice that many of them are getting paler and paler with fear and the sanctioned pskers in your force are writhing with the agony of a ghostly prescence, they are close.

Name: Animus
Full Name: Animus Umbra
Equipment: Power armour, chaos space marine bike, deamon weapon, meltabombs, Mark of Slaanesh.
Appearence: A fluid and graceful figure his armour almost an extension of his body as he fights, the blue and gold couloration often gives the impression of a ordainary space marine until you see his helmetless head, the tentacles that grow from his scap instead of hair flow over his head and around his shoulders, the eyes are golden and pupilless centuries of decadance and drugs have pushed the man beyond any reasonable ssanity, now he exists as a seeker of extasy and his appearance show this, the blissful nature of his face and the fluidity of his movement allows him to exclude an aura of peace even while giving the gift of bliss to others, his sword, "Amoneo Obscura" (shifting darkness in latin) is a graceful scimitar that curves in a gentle arc, dripping with untold fluids the blissgiver constantly whispers to Animus giving him hints and advice. His bike is just as clean as "beautiful" as he is, it is almost loyalist in its shaping except for the fact that instead of wheels roiling warp patterns carry it over ground and it is streamlined to the last curve. (the warp patterns are shaped like wheels and are in the same place.)
History: Once a loyal space marine of the alpha legion he was cast aside by his battle brothers after the heresy and now he has few allegiances to any man or space marine, loyalist or otherwise. He found his deamon weapon buried in the ruins of an aincient monastry to Slaanesh, the weapon he took for his own and he butchered an entire army of Chaos to keep it. His squad of bikers he has gathered in his journies and he acts almost in a mercanary capacity, fighting for those who pay him the most, however he does not search fo money, rather he searches for followers. He has been bribed with a great host of chaos bikers by the lord on Rak'noll to help rid the planet of the enemies of chaos.

Animus's drop pod screamed to the dirt, retro thrusters activating at the last moment, several more rippled down around him, slightly bulkier than the usual drop pod each was designed to hold a pair of bikers.

The hatches slam down and before they are even fully locked the 10 bikers of chaos roar out of them sending bolter shells down into the ranks of necrons swarming around the land raider on the hill, the chaos terminators there dispatching the last of them.

Through the midst of the battle a rider could be seen moving at breakneck pace (even for a marine) through the metallic army before him, slashing left and right he destroyes the necrons with consumate ease.

Cresting the hill he skids to a stop, his tentacles writhing around his exposed face, locking his eyes upon the largest most powerful looking terminator he greets him in a voice layered with hypnotic melodies that would completely entrance all bar a chaos warrior.

"I have come as requested to rid this land of the plague upon it, direct me great lord of chaos."

Legion:
The terminator lord infront of you speaks in harsh gravelly tones, "good, very good i see you will be an excellent addition to this fight, these necrons are numerous but not unstoppable, i fully expect the imperial forces on this planet to defeat them without to much trouble, however, when the forces of these metal warriors are downed, the imperium will be severly weakend, you are to dispatch their supply trains and the like as swifty as you can and then report to me once more.

Options:
A: follow the lords orders and assault the supply trains
B: ignore him and take your own path in the fight

New optional action for all members,
Reports of powerful energy sources are eminating from many positions on the planet, attempt to search for these, unfortunatley the size of the necron assault means that all of your forces bar the squad you are part of will have to stay in their current paths to defend or assault the necrons, if you choose this option then only your squad may accompany you

Bowing slightly Animus sweeps Amoneo in a graceful arc as he bows, as if doffing a hat, when he rises to his full height again he says in his melodious tones, "i will see to it as you ask but first i hear that there are sources of energy rippling across this planet, i would search for them to ensure that they are not harmful to our goals."

"My men and i will depart as soon as you give me the vector for the first source."

Mounting his bike he screams of down the hill to talk with his men.

i will fortify my base for the necron assault and i ready thunerhawks with assault marines for any major targets

(nocturne) as your warriors fortify the base you get the same warning signals as vulkan, the librarians are in pain the chaplains cant concentrate and your even the space marines, staunch as they are, are beginning to feel the first tendrilos of fear, whatevers out there its big

as the speach was done every soldier took its positions. waiting for the necron filth to come, the 4th had fought the necron another time before so thats why they took extra care in protecting their backs for flayed ones.

The fortress is a glorious sight, rows of cannons and battle tanks arayed in lines of war, the battle brothers of the 4th company were arryed in their squads, in perfect stillness, the scene could have been painted, but for the fluttering of a flag atop the standard on each terminator clad marine.

In the distance a dark cloud can be seen, a shifting blackness shot through with bolts of vividest green, in the shadows something dark and terrible can be seen moving.

(free option) (the whirlwind battle tanks will be in range but nothing else)

After briefing his troops on the situation Animus rides back up the hill to recieve the coords of the first position, bowing slightly again he and his warriors ride to the blip now showing in their helmets and Animus is guided by his sword, which whispers directions to his mind.

Aw jeez I should know this! Totally forgotten, I'm thinking killing blow consists mainly of force. Well that would'nt help as there are too many of the Necrons, if I defend I will eventually get worn down. So I'll go for B Kayun tactics

i will do the hammer and anvil tactik. first soften them with the wirlwinds then keep doing that until, they are pretty close and then drop a deathstrike missle and in the crater teleport terminators, drop dreadnoughts and jump the assault marines from overflying thunderhawks while they are blasting away

(Kais) Your fire warriors and kroot melt into the natural forests of the planet and begin to execute survical strikes on the main force of necrons, the base is packed up and flown deep into the mountains as your forces steadily whittle away at the enemy ranks. (free option)

(Vulkan) The psker walks to the edge of the battlements and begins to glow with an eerie light, in the gloom of the semi night you can see arcs of corusating energy rippling from him and whipping up into the heavans, glancing down to the troops you can see them arraying themselfs in lines of battle, ready for the fight to come, suddenly the ground erupts beneath you spraying dirt in all directions as a many legged Tombstalker rises beneath you, you find your self on its back as the wretched beast skitters toward your men, in the distance the green light of a necron monolith can be seen towering above ranks of necron warriors and dreaded immortals. (free option)

(nucturne) The roar of the whirlwinds' launchers cuts out all sound as the missles scream overhead, blue flashes of light ripple out ward as your terminators prepare to deepstrike, in your ear you can hear a pilot calmly designating his flight path and the confirmations of his fellows over your comm, beside you the frame of a deathstrike missle's launch system begins to rock as the force created by the down draft ripples across the seige platform. (free option)

(Legion) In the distance far to your left you can hear the screams of missles and the multiple roar of heavy artillry, as you near your vector you see green arcs of lightning flashing to the ground. (free option)

while every squad is preparing for the fight. i will go to my personal honour gaurd and go with them to the front.

after this battle cry the squads lock and load and they wait in complete silence for the enemy to come

"Continue until we have a clear area, then call for more troops."

(Vulkan) Your weapon digs deep into the stalkers body as several autocannon shells smash into it, the beast rears back and nearly dislodjes you but you hang on grimly severing the beasts head with your weapon, landing on the ground you see the monolith disgorge swarms of warriors onto the feild of battle, even as your men gun them down they continue to advance, the bright flashes of gauss weapons shatter the grim determination of your men as the flesh is ripped from their bones, the necons are getting destroyed quickly, but can your mens moral hold long enough to finish them?

(nucturne) Your men and you stand vigil at the front of your army, and from behind you a eerie sound comes from your men, shivers of pride run down you as the hymn of your chapter rises up around you, the vox casters in your mens helmets send an echoing roar of defiance and faith across the plains. As the necrons get closer you see their uncaring faces aiming their dreaded gauss weapons but you are invulnerable (mentally) in your confidence in your men as you raise your power sword and let out a great cry
"FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!"

(kais) Your warriors fight a grim war in the forests and moutain of the planet with a ceaseless tide of necron warriors, your fire warriors and kroot sustain few losses as the tactics of the paitient hunter force the enemy back under withering arcs of fire that seem to come from the very air itself, your stealth suits gaining much prestige as the necrons fail to determine the source of the lethal gunfire now sycthing through them. A mantra ripples through your forces of fire warriors and alien allies as you push the robots back, "for the greater good, for the greater good, for...."

In the sky you see the sihouettes of manta gunships scream down and lay even more fire into he retreating ranks of warriors, battlesuits and hammerheads join the battle and crush the waves of necrons, a brief respite has been gained, however the worst is yet to come.

(i got a thunder hammer and what are the next options)

"Everybody secure the position so we can get a base up to run our operations, as I fear more is to come."

all light weapons shoot the footsoldiers
asscannons battle cannons punishers shoot that monolith!"

as the deathstrike missle launches the marines cry their call for battle, the marines fire their weapons and an heavy fire fight breaks out.
"sir they are getting close what do we need to do now?"
"use the hammer and anvil brother, we will smite them upon it"
and when he said that the deathstrike missle found his target and exploded the marines responded as one and outflanked the steel beasts, in the crater there was a lots of noice because the terminators teleported in, the drop pods w dreadnoughts crashed in the earth and assault marines jumped from overflying thunderhawks. the enemy couldn't go away. they were trapped

(Nucturne) (free options till end of combat) as the terminators deepstike into the crater a dark prescence fills the air, choking the terminators vision with a murky cloud, the autosenses of the terminators helmets are suddenly filled with screams of terror as the darkness manifests in the form of the nightbringer. A dark scythe resting in the skeletal hand of the face of death and the robes of torment flowing from his slender frame, he engages the terminators. (the success of the terminators (or otherwise) will be affected by a dice roll)

As your warriors fight the forefront of the necrons and the thunderhawks pound them from above an epic battle unfolds in the center of the tableu.

(Vulkan) (free options till end of combat) The guardsmen in the fortrss yell in triumph as the great hordes of necrons wither before them. Warriors falling like so much wheat before a combine harvester, but even as they are destroyed a tall necron holding a long glittering styaff walks forwards and as he move throught he detrius of battle, the necrons rise up around him in battle lines, the Necron lord turns to you and stares in your direction. The thought enters your head that if he can be destroyed then the necrons can be defeated.
