(vulkan) The unorthodox yell gets the attention of many of your men, raining fire down on the Necron lord you men slowly force him back into the lines of his warriors, having sustained several heavy wounds. The ranks again close up around him and you are forced to accept that the battle is far from over.

"I want to see everything put up, then we will destroy the remainder of the necrons, after that the planet will just about be part of the Tau Empire!"

as arogh hears that there is a major fight in the crater he activates his teleporter that was locked to an beacon in one of the drop pods. soon after he arrived he saw the night bringer, his honour gaurd teleporting behind him he gives the order to fire at him and pound him with the mailed fist of the emporer. as he gives the order every terminator begins to fire at it the dreadnoughts protecting the termi's and the assault marines do hit and run with grenades as they do jump, activate krak, throw it at the nb, and then jump away etc.
as they do this arogh orders an run by from thunderhawks for the assault marines and dreadnoughts, activation of the beacon in the base for the termi's and arogh. when every1 is evecuated they bomb the sh*t out of the crater

(vulkan) your radio crackles with static then a scream rips through it and the yells of the dying nearly mask a frantic reply for aid as the transmitter yells into the radio you hear the eeirie noise of a large entity of unknown origin moving through the ranks of wrriors, suddenly the transmission cuts off. your are alone in this fight.

(Nucturne) your terminators and warriors inflict smal wounds on the nightbringer but nothing telling.

(kais) The base is unpacked swiftly as your earth caste engineers put the fabricated structures in place, you rank you men up for a speech.

"Now listen everyone. We have done well to destroy as many of the Necrons as we have , but the remainders of them are holding out in a cave a few miles away. What we plan to do, is go in there and finish them off. I admit we are taking a gamble in doing this, and also I cannot lie to you or keep it away from you. So I will tell you, there will be losses. But it will not be in vain. Because once those Necrons have been destroyed, we will then take down the remainder of the forces who challenge, "our" claim to this planet. So then this planet WILL be part of the Tau Empire. For the greater good!!!"

(sorry was afk nucuturne and i missed that last bit) As the night bringer moves forward to engage the terminators again a shrill whistle snaps through your comm. The nuke is on its way, as you realize this a thunderhawk swoops down and you and your men leap onto the boarding ramp as is screams back to the base, a second brining the remainder of the crater troops, looking back you see the nuke detonate a rippling boom that knocks you off your feet and threatens to spin you into the air, one of your men grabs hold of your wrist as you fly past. "i got ya sir!".

Landing safely back in the base the necron forces are seen to be falling back in earnest, but your men give them no such chance cutting down the remainder of them your warriors let out a great cheer, the threat had ended, but the were still other aliens on the planet whih had to be cleansed, this battle was not yet over.

Free option (this next option will define your option path for the next section of the rp)

(vulkan) Your guardsmen put everything into the ranks of necrons taking few casualties but inflicting many as the ranks of metal warriors wither under the torrent of las blts and heavy shells. At one stage the necron lord reappears only to be decapitated by a lascannon burst, he does not rise again. Your men emboldened by this success rip through the remaining necrons and bring order back to the Plains of steel, as they will come to be known.

This is a great day for the imperium of man, this day you have defeated the necron threat like no other defense before, you have proved that they can be defeated, and as the last guns roar dies away you look up to see the sun rising over the cloauds of necron darkness. yes a glorious day.

(kais) your stirring words bring forth a grat cry: "for the greater good", you and your personal guard lead into a devilfish and the rest of your fire warriors follow suit, (because of the size of the caverns only troops class warriors may fight) The hordes of kroot warriors and their shapers follow in a great swarm rippling over the country side as only kroot can. This great force will bring the anvil of the Tau Empire down upon your enemies, and will purge the necrons from this world.

At the entrance to the caverns your warriors disembark and you realize that the battle could either be bvery quick and bloody or long and arduous, either way the coming battle would give your men invaluable experience in fighting the necron warriors.

Options:
A: Patient hunter
B: Killing blow

(now that your back in a defensive capacity we can unlock the chaos side of things properly as Legion has dissapeared,)
As you look out throught thye window of the command spire you can see a dark cloud gathering on the horizon, if the reports of spies in the imperium is correct then this must be the remnant of the necron amy on the planet, you bar your teeth in amusement at the futility of their plight.

Options: free option but it will decide the course of your story plot line

The Raven's equerry then gestured to the warriors in the room. Boltguns ready they fired into the crowd of cultists screaming and begging to be sacrificed to the Dark Gods. The cultists laughed madly as their own master did as they were ripped to shreds by mass-reactive shells.

The sorcerer then raised his hands to the heavens

Thunder and lightning erupted from the sky. The unnatural bolts of lightning bathed Rak'noll in a glow of dark energy. Only one such force could cause such happenings, only the power of the Empyrean, only the Warp, only Chaos. Who can stop this dark power, the power of a Warp storm?

(first i know that the hammer and anvil belong to no one but the salamanders are the ones who are using it like hell. lets see first the battle cry : into the fires of battle and unto the ANVIL of war. then the special rule of vulcan he'stan all thunder HAMMERS are master crafted all flamer hevy flamers melta's and multi melta's count as twin linked)
and i thought it was funny so no offence or something

(all good nocturne) You get into a thunderhawk with your warriors and fly to your allied bases, as you fly over the old space wolves encampment a horrible sight meets your eyes, somehow the necrons had gotten hold of the body of Romulus (ie they killed the tyranid with him in it b4 it could digest him) and had reconstructed his mind, the pariah below you is weilding a long sword made of necron steel and glowing green at the edges. As he looks up you get the forboding sense of death filling your mind. Fortunatley the thunderhawks carry you past the pariah without anyother issues. Touching down at the Guardsmans base you see a great feild of destroyed necrons covering the ground. Walking up to the commander you greet him....

A: ask about the camps losses
B: report about the fate of the space wolves
C: aid the recovery

(vulkan) for a time you oversee the clearing of the necrons, but a familiar sound greets your ears, the welcome multiple roar of thunderhawk engines sweeps through the camp as a (terminator?) clad marine in the livery of the salamanders chapter disembarks and hails you.

(undivided) the lightening strikes lance down to the necrons and smite them destoying entire feilds of warriors, but as surely as the tide waxes the necrons reassemble, walking forwards heedless of the lightening strikes around them they begin to assault your base.
