Victim of their own success... anyhoo, guys buy if you want, don't buy if you don't want, completely up to you.

I however do not want this thread turning into a disgruntled handful derailing the entire process for a few bad (but eventually resolved) experiences. If you have questions/grievances, please bring them up with Tomash via PM first, this is not their customer service board.

I do not think Tomash has been shy to say they have grown quickly and are struggling to meet demand, and get things cast and out in a timely fashion. He has also said he is working hard to resolve it. Let's give them a few more months to grow into their new company reality, and show a little patience and support if we do indeed appreciate their product.

Don't get me wrong here I like what Bitspudlo produces.

When I place an order with Maxmini I receive the items exactly 14 days later. They state on the site that it might take that long.

I placed an order on 05/05/11 and the items were supposed to be shipped 06/06/11, why?

That's my problem plus the fact that I still have not received the shipment.

Sorry guys for turning this into a rant about BAD Service. I just thought they might have gone out of business.

I hope they don't go out of business and that its just startup issues or problems with casting/materials etc, and not some two-timing douchebag they thought they could trust.

I received a response from Tomash today and I just wanted to share that fact. Hopefully he'll be able to help the rest of you having difficulties as well, and thanks again Tomash =)

Not sure what you're looking at. Their custom bits company is the bitsbox.eu part, and everything except Thermic Guns seems to have stock.

We wouldn't introduce new products and regularly respond in this thread if Bitspudlo was a scam, don't you think?

Now back to emails and then for some saturday casting spree.

Ordered GW parts and resin kits through these guys a couple of times. Sure it took a while but they arrived and the quality was first class. It seems delays atm are nothing new, currently I have outstanding orders (ie month ++) from Maelstrom, Antenociti, Quantum Gothic, Forge World, numerous reputable "American" ebay traders etc... In these guys case its what invaribly happens when small companies get "outed" on the boards the www masses.

Patience is the word and the time staff waste replying to people consistently pestering them about order status is time that could be spent actually organising it.

I received my order today. All looks good except the hounds are tiny. Over a month is too long to wait on an order. Maybe some kind of express mail option would help this not happen.

Has the re-launch occurred?

As of today, I see most of the bitzbox.eu stuff (that is, their proprietary sculpts and casts) as in stock and available.

I believe Bitspudlo is a two-man operation, and they've recently enjoyed a bit of an explosion of interest in their products. So cut them a little slack. If you've got a problem with an order and haven't had a response to a direct email, then I'm sure Tomash wouldn't object to a PM here on Dakka, as he's obviously on the forum fairly regularly.

My own experience with Bitspudlo has been nothing but positive.

Most of the time our post manages to deliver in under two weeks from shipping but time to time ( ~1-2% of orders ) they get slowed down somewhere on the way or are lost. I hope that we can soon have enough orders to send abroad that we will be able to get some good prices from ups or other service.

Sure thing. Person who did the magnificent work of creating these babes is already thinking how to make some 'modyfications' we asked him for.

By the way, we gave our stuff to some proffesional mini painters to make them look better on our site than bare resin casts and here are first results.

When you're shipping stuff halfway around the world, some potential delay should be expected.

International shipping times of 4 to 5 weeks are not at all unusual. Annoying, certainly, particularly because it can be extremely inconsistent (I once posted a replacement parcel to a customer in the US after their original had not arrived after 4 weeks. Both parcels arrived on the same day, 5 days later.) but it's just one of those things that you have to accept if you're buying internationally.

Express shipping can sometimes be an option, but for any sort of guaranteed express it can be prohibitively expensive, particularly on smaller orders.

Nah, there's no point in blaming the post office. Our shipping delays stemmed from still-not-as-high-as-we-would-like production speed. But it seems we're almost there and starting next week all orders should be dispatched within a week.

Excellent, cause my next project looms and those turrets are a calling....

Don't forget that Customs departments can delay shipments unpredictably too.

Back on topic, i love those new reptilian heads. Any chance of doing them in other sizes? - I was thinking they could make great alternate Tyranid heads...

Us Americans are spoiled by our more consistent mail service. I've waited over a month for things I've ordered from the UK. Not every national postal service offers express international mail or dispatches regularly enough and unless Bitspudlo negotiates with FedEx or UPS it tends to cost ~$25 to ship an small to average package by express carriers.

RE postage: My wife informed me that my orders arrived sometime last week. So it was right at a month from Poland to Florida.

Also, with more and more people receiving orders, it be great to see some more pictures put up of painted conversions and such using Bitspudlo pieces.

(I plan to take plenty of unboxing and WIP pictures as soon as I return home this weekend)
