Lol, you don't need wolfs for that. I study security/safety... And went there on a field trip... Even I could kill everyone there....

You say a good quality and a bad quality of your character. If you rp your char in according to your Vice/virtue...You get some benifits...

That is if i didn't understand it wrong.

Ohhh okay, so a good quality could be like "loyal to the human race" and a bad point could be like "normally depressed"?

Im thinking of making a russian who can trace his hunter roots to 1800's when a Wolf outbrake terrorized a part of russia(Can't decide where) or a german guy possibly an american....but doubt it. Either way they have military AND hunter experince(But not a whole bunch of hunter)

You pick a Virtue and a Vice from the list below, and Silly is correct. If you roleplay your Virtue and Vice, you get one re-roll during an event, which you must use by the end of the game day or it become void.

Castitas- Chastity
Temperantia- Temperance
Caritas- Charity
Industria- Diligence
Patientia- Patience
Humanitas- Kindness
Humilitas- Humilty

VICE:
Luxuria- Lust
Gula- Gluttony
Avarita- Greed
Acedia- Sloth
Ira- Wrath
Invidia- Envy
Superbia- Pride

Must admit never been a fan of static Virtue/Vice, they are way to open an idea to roleplay, can almost roleplay anything and be following a set virtue, and to easy to read the vices into anything rp'd as well.

Much prefered WoD and having set Merits and flaws that are very specific to a situation or object.

Such as restricted feeding for Vampires, so they only gain substance from blood of a certain creed, or age type. For Werewolves something like Moon mad, so when the full moon is out they are even more crazy than normal, and so on.

Hmmm, for Vice I think Wrath would suit Dez as he has now learnt the harshness if life, and his attitude is "take no prisoners".

But I am not sure about Virtues, as it could be kind, patience, or any others really.

What do you think?

Also, are you only alloud one?

I would say only one, while your character may have dozens of flaws and attributes, the Virtue/Vice is the overbalancing factor in your character's behavior.

I agree with you, to an extent. The GM is the final arbiter on whether or not you RP'd your Virtue/Vice well, and FITZZ will award us as he sees fit.

Lust is a craving for something or someone, not necessarily sex. For example, you may Lust for power or wealth. But yeah, your example could work.

Greed would be for wealth really, while gluttony for food, and Wrath is killing or whatever isn't it?

Aye, my main issue is I'm very rarely that black or white with RPing. I literally couldn't pick either and be happy with them with Scarlett.

Always preferred shades of grey and she is that way in my design, a virtue/vice system feths her up to be honest.

Gluttony in this case would be not letting go, or using/taking to much right wrath would be like rage quitting and the like(So yes murder)

World of Darkness, one of the things FITZZ mentions inspired this thread.

Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse and Hunter the Reckoning all have Merits and flaws that would suit folks in this setting down to the ground.

Hell, I might be tempted to run a WoD game here one day, not for an age yet mind, but after this very enjoyable experience with FITZZ and you all, I'd seriously consider it, where it wouldn't have entered my mind previously.
