Hm... I wonder if this mystery Bones item could be a piece of thematic terrain. That would be a pretty spectacular use of the Bones PVC.

Here you go, this should start to answer some questions. More images on the way
This should be added to the Kickstarter sometime in the second half of the campaign.

Will there be some sort of spacey option for the gun, or will it just look like something out of a WWI alt. hist.?

Hi Folks,
Just thought I should jump in here and clarify some speculation, Its very nice to see all this interest in Vic Minis

Jake and I have been invited to create a special project which will be a part of the current Reaper Bones III Kickstarter. This will be a special 'guest spot' for a Victoria Miniatures piece, and will appear approximately half way through the campaign.

I understand Bones is not everyone's cup of tea, especially some of the early pieces were not impressive. However they have gotten better with experience, and this piece is being specifically designed with Bones in mind, it will be cast in grey PVC, not the usual Bones white, and will be a big chunk of plastic specifically intended for this medium.

I assure you I have no intention (or the cash) at this point, to retool the entire range in PVC. This project is currently a one off, that will give me the experience of working on project for metal tooling, and will expose Vic Minis to a whole new audience. It will be a good learning exercise, and I look forward to hearing customer feedback. It gives Jake and I the chance to make a big plastic kit without the usual risk and expense and will enable us to offer if for an insanely cheap price if purchased as part of the KS. it will also be available after the KS from Vic MInis, and we have lots of resin add ons already in the works.

Its still a work in progress so I'll be posting some pics in the few days.
Cheers, V

PS: its not the Tank

That model looks like it would be completely useless for a steampunk RPG I am planning.... <=== Sarcasm.

Most especially for a Silence the Guns scenario.

(I'm asking myself... 'how many?', not 'if?'....)

I would love to see Reaper promoting more third party sculptors through Bones - and really want to see this experiment pay off for all concerned. (Reaper, Ms. Lamb, and us....)

The Auld Grump - for some reason I am thinking 'Hunter Green'....

Damn you, vic! After supporting Bones I and II, I decided I had enough of their figures for my needs. Now you go and give me a reason I HAVE to support Bones III. It's mean, that's what it is...

Good question. Not %100 sure yet. I would expect so.

Yes, definitely though Vic Minis and possibly through Reaper stockists.

Good news is that the add-on level is $1, so you can "just" buy this "miniature".

Still, you might want to save $20 for the metal 12-paint set. And another $20 for the other paint set. And $10 for the rider-mounted dragon. And maybe $10 for the mouslings. Core? What core?

I would be excited to see a Cuirass torso that goes well with other Vic minis. I tried to do my own coversion using the ones found in a War of Spanish Succession cavalry box and they ended up being too small :( (Though, I did get 12 cavalrymen for roughly the price I would have expected to pay for 12 torsos... so I really wish GW would make Rough Riders not suck.)

Judging by the back of the gun crew fellow, with a head swap he would go well into my Steel Legion. With 2 weeks to go in Bones III I hope we get monre information soon.

Well the helmets are very similar to WW2 German airborne helmets. Or, the heads are easy enough to cast up.
