Nice tutorial, though the pictures don't really show the final texture of the snow. That's the big thing I've found about doing snowy scenery, getting a good texture that won't blow away (some snow products look great if you just sprinkle them with no glue but obviously that won't stay there when you transport the models, the hard part is getting snow that stays there and still has a realistic texture).
