Hmmmmmm..... Battlewagons look good, I prefer Boarding Planks to Riggers, but that's just me.

Personally, I think 'ard Boyz are a bit overpriced and I wouldn't recommend using them.

The same goes for Biker boyz. I just don't think they're a competitive unit due to their price and Ld issues. I'd rather see a 3rd Kopta and Buzzsaws on all three.

I'd put the Boss in a Wagon. On a Warbike, he's too big a target.

Lootas are always a good choice. A medium sized Nobz could fit in too, I think.

This list is a good start, but you've made some fluffy choices. If that's what you want, great! However, it could definitely be more competitive though.

Ok. So I want to improve this list and make it more competitive, but I am hoping to get every mob either on bikes or in transports to get into a good melee range. I am sure you know that Orks will get shredded easily so you either need a horde or some form of protection XD. How could I fit in another mode of transportation the best way to get either some lootas or a half a mob of Nobs in there? Thanks for the help.

Drop the bikes and get a Trukk full of Slugga Boyz.

Take the armor off the 'ard boyz to get another Kopta and put Buzzsaws on all of them.

in the stomp'n center of da WAAAAAAGGH!!!!

i like it, i'm not that much of a fan of boarding planks, if the deff rolla doesn't kill it than a nob with a pk should have the same problem, bud i do agree with claypool on the 'ard boyz they are a pritty penny for not so pritty of a unit

So what you're saying is that if 1 S10 hit doesn't kill it, then 4 S9 attacks definitely won't. Makes sense to me!

After these adjustments I still have a good amount of points to work with on finishing touches. Any other ideas? I know Claypool plays some speed freeks and I appreciate the help from you guys.
And as for the boarding planks-I don't see too much of a need as my deffrolla should take care of most vehicle krunching that needs to be done . Plus with the movement limitations it isnt as practical as I wish it was, though I do admire how it can let me use some of my warboss attacks on a nearby vehicle(assuming he is in the wagon).

Who's riding in that trukk? Add 12 Slugga boyz for 112pts.

Add 18 Gretchin and a Runtherd for the rest of the points.

Or take out the warboss and replace with Ghazghkull. 1500 is the minimum I would run him in, but hes a beast and totally worth it.

6" Waagh + Fearless for your whole army for an game turn is awesome.

Also definitely get the buzzsaws and a third deffkopta. The potential on them for alpha striking if you get first turn is so good. If you get first turn, combined with your turbo boost scout move, you'll be in range to assault and auto hit back armor with str7! And that's if your twin linked rokkits don't finish the job first.

I would go a different route and instead of trukk boys I would get a small group of gretchin and 3 rokkit buggies instead of the trukk boys, I've found them invaluable for blocking movement and with the KFF save they're pretty survivable.

This would give you enough points to bump those deffkopta squads up to 2 man with 1 buzz saw and both with rokkits. Lets them do a little wound allocation and if they break you can still rally.

Other than that boyz suck against a lot of things it's pretty standard BW spam and I've seen worse but against SW you'll get trashed if he brings a decent list.

Don't run Koptas in squads of two. One failed save against a Krak Missle and your unit is fleeing 3D6 back to your table edge. Save yourself some points and keep them single.

A ram on that Trukk would also be a good idea.

Claypool- I am adding the slugga boyz into the list with a trukk and ram. What about a pk nob with the slugga boyz?

MrDrumMachine- Yeah like claypool said, lose one kopta and the other will run 3d6 real quick away from wherever I need them most likely. For the Gretchin, are you suggesting to keep the wagon with the kff near them for the only purpose of blocking movement? I feel like I could use more boyz instead of buggy purely for blocking enemy units... Unless I used them to screen a trukk but i am still fuzzy on the idea.

bigmeklover- lol for a minute i didnt see the message at thebottom of your post! I was like, "what?? What would that do...?". Hahah that was funny.

Skelly- Yeah Ghazgkhull could be a major help in terms of his 9" waaagh move.

Again, thanks a lot for all of the help guys!

List will be up in a little while...

So what if it's fleeing? At least it's not dead. Besides if you plan on actually doing something with the shooting aspect of deff koptas then you need at least 2 to reliably get 1 hit on something and that's not even counting whether or not you can pen it.

Also a single squad of trukk boys sucks in this list. It has no place in the list and will be the target of anything that can't hurt the battlewagons turn 1 and then be toast.

With my suggestion at least you have a better shot at opening up a couple transports before your wagons get there, though you're still in a bad position because you're relying on boyz to do your heavy lifting and deff rollas as your AT. While that may be the only way to deal with AV 14 for Orks you need a better way to deal with lower AV from range so your boys have something to do when you're either forced out of your wagons or voluntarily leave them.

You serious? It might as well be dead. Once an ork runs it's done for, they don't rally. Not to mention 3d6 will take him off the board in no time anyway.

Ok so i don't like the idea of deffkoptas in twos but the point that the trukk boyz will get wiped easily is a problem to me.

As long as you keep the Trukk in KFF range and behind your Battlewagons, you'll be fine. Use it to grab objectives later in the game.

I could add boarding planks on the wagons to use up the rest of the points.

I have a Speed Freak army created myself. I know alot of people don't like the bikes but I really dig them myself. I used a Warboss mounted on a bike as well as Wazdakka Gutsmek. I mount a mob of Nobz on bikes which would count as troops from the Warboss and a mob of Bikers which also count as troops from Wazdakka. Fleshed the rest of the army out with 2 mobs of Boyz and a mob of Flash Gitz. With no Wazdakka model out there its not a tourney army but may give you some ideas. Only been playing for a few months and this army has yet to be put to the test but I'm looking forward to seeing what those Biker Boyz can do

Sweet! I am keeping the original version of the list for more friendly games and to see how the bikes feel. I already converted and painted a biker boss like you. Just add a top knot and you have Wazdakka lol! But yeah the revised list will be for more competitive games I guess. Really just have to field test it.
