As a modeler/converter foremost, painter second, and player distant distant third I have found myself more and more drawn to the Tyranid models lately. I think its the fact that they take washes to shade so easily, and Chitin plates are actually sort of enjoyable. There is also a ridiculous amount of conversion freedom. Anyone else hear the siren's call of another faction?

Orks is the only other race that I have any interest in ATM.
Mostly due to their interesting fluff:
Red=Faster
Dakka(louder)=Stronger and so forth.

Necrons have had my eye for quite awhile. I love the murdering, soulless robots being led by gods idea that they have going. However, the codex is really old, and the elites are expensive to buy, so until the new codex and hopefully plastic models come I'll content myself with my SM.

I'm starting Guard now, but I'm interested in either Chaos or Eldar as my next.

My big intreast is in nurgle. somthing about bikes with 6 strength bikes that akmost imposible to kill is awsome.

Yes i must admit that nurgle is quite eyecatching but i would have to say that my eye has been drawn to the new dark eldar. They just look so much cooler. Especially since GW did a whole remake of them.

In terms of modelling, I've always liked the look of tyranids or demons. So different from the imperial and eldar forces I've done so far.

Dark Eldar (Scourges, I love them), Imp Guard (Vet Guard) and the Space Wolves (Army I've always wanted, they were one of the reasons I started playing).


Im also missing my old Daemonhunters, there is so much I would have like to do with them but at the time it was just a "lol Grey Knights" army. Now I want Inquisitors and Daemon Hosts with Stormtroopers and Purgation Squads.

Daemons, the bloodletter minis are so cool looking.

Space Marines. Most likely raven guard. Because i quite enjoy the fluff.

I want to revive my old nids. but i sold most of them to my brother and he painted them in the most ugly shades of orange and green brown. looks horrible. I only have a few left but i'm kinda hoping GW will crank out the models they are missing because i don't feel keen on ripping off everyones tervigon conversions ect.
oh and it would be cool to have plastic sisters. i hate their stupid haircuts. so ugly.

For the sole purpose of collecting I like the look of the Dark Eldar. However I've been delving into other manufacturer's ranges and have discovered a range by Alternative Armies. Very unusual sci/fi models. They come under their Ion Firefight range. I like them so much I've ordered 3 times in as many weeks! Plus they are cheaper than GW.

I'm just starting up Imperial Guard and planning to massively expand it in the new year. Suddenly I have a weird urge to do Tyranids though - I've never had an interest in them before but I'm really keen nowadays. Whether that'll last until I can afford an army of them is up in the air!

Dark Eldar - Seriusly what are there not to like? Well maby that they are pretty fragile but the figures look so cool and you can make so meany fun lists and having an army of the most evil beeings in the galaxy phew. Some space pirate fleet you could build!
Imperial Guards - It facinates me that the ordinary humans stand against foes of the galaxy Xeno scum and heretics and mutants alike! They got the strongest power in them of all! The Power to survive! I really love the Imperial Guards.
Tyranids - Always been a huge Alien fan! And Tyranids look so much more terrifying then the actual Aliens from the movies. And the idea to field a huge army of them! Well color me blind but doesn't that just gives you the thrill?. It sure does for me.

If just i could start them all...

I second the Death Korp of Krieg. Those are sweet models.

But I can't go in for another army. Especially not a FW based army.

IG. Or more specifically, traitor guard to complement my CSM and daemon armies. I've always been intrigued by IG, but for some reason never got around to starting an army. That may have to change soon.

I've still got my hands full trying to get my first army together, but assuming I were to start a second army...
I'll agree with Death Korp; think they're wicked looking. Also, I'd be tempted to put together some chaos marines, specifically thousands sons and plague marines. I love those models

Grey Knights. OK, I DO play them, kinda, but with my Templars as proxies, and I'd get more of their models if their codex wasn't bull and about to be replaced. At least I've got the printed version of it! Oh, and the GKTs are so awesome models!

I'm still working on the 3 armies that I've currently got, so I'm holding myself back from actually buying anything, but I will admit that WoC from Fantasy has been drawing my eye, a LOT. Absolutely GORGEOUS model range. Especially that Khorne Lord on the Juggernaut. If I hadn't gotten my Lizardmen first I likely would have picked them up.

The new Dark Eldar has really caught my eye...in fact it has made me completely lose almost all interest in my Eldar that are waiting to be started next month. Sadly enough, its my imagination and the colors schemes I have in my head that make me want to collect practically every army or multiples of some. I really need to stop fantacising all day about painting things

I haven't started playing fantasy yet, but I think WoC or High Elf would be fun. I'll probably get the Island of Blood set, so I'll have a few of the skaven and elves to start. If I run WoC, I'd like to do some of the celtic style ones I've seen floating around. Those seem awesome.

Having only ever played dark eldar in my whole time as a warhammer 40k nut I am drawn to the farseer eldar armies... guide and fate seem like awesome psychic powers...
