I'm looking for some canon to support the idea of chaos orks.
Has this happened in the fluff? can i have a source?
Thanks in advance for whoever knows this!

Khorne orks happen. Sometimes small groups of orks get mixed put into thinking that khorne is Gork/Mork and eventually that just devolves into them just worshipping khorne. Berserker orks are terrifying thing to imagine. They used to have models to iirc...

There was actually a fluff story in the Ork codex about a boss that led his boyz into the eye of terror and fought their way across daemon planets until they found one that was alive. Every day, they are resurrected to fight the planet anew, so I suppose they are technically daemons, chaos Orks, or possessed of some sort by now.

I know about that story. It didn't strike me as chaos worship, but i guess theres some sort of influence there. how else would they be resurrected constantly?
Do any of you know what that article read?
I was fairly certain that Khorne orks would be the logical choice. I just wanted to see if it was actually canon somewhere!!

In RT there were actually 'stormboyz of khorne' models.
'pics or it didn't happen':

http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Space_Orks_-_1995-6_Goffs,_Runtherd_%26_Stormboyz
The fluff was that they somehow unintentionally mistook the presence of Khorne for Gork/Mork, which devolved into them becoming khornate, and typically Goff clan orks tended to go this route

I found this article, it was from the old GW site
THE BEAST WITHIN - ORKS
To many victims of the rapacious, warmongering Orks, they are already quite daemonic enough. Some players can never get enough of a good thing though so rather than fight the Daemonhunters equipped only with a sturdy choppa and an experimental (but loud) shoota, they decide instead to include a Madboss and some Daemonboyz in their army.
It seems easy enough to rationalise; Orks salvage anything, fear nothing, respect personal prowess and love fighting. Excellent host material you might think. However, they do have a natural resistance to possession and any warband seen as getting too un-Orky could expect to be turned on by the rest and destroyed in short order. Orks are an elemental force in their own right and have a kind of simple purity of purpose that Chaos loathes. There is therefore little mileage in Chaos acting directly against the Orks but they are the perfect tool to use against the Imperium.
This is reflected in the plot hooks provided in Codex: Daemonhunters. The evidence of possession or Daemonic collusion with an Ork force would be certain to draw out the Daemonhunters. This could be bad news for the Orks as an army of storm bolter wielding stronger-than-normal Space Marines is not high on any Orks list of preferred opponents. Becoming an adversary for the occasion can certainly help.
Having your Warboss possessed on the face of it isn’t that brilliant. However, if he can hold the Daemonic power within him and resist possession you will have a Warboss with between 6 and 8 Strength. Give him a ’uge choppa for an extra 2 points of Strength and get ready for a shocked expression on your opponent’s face when he rips his way into a close combat. If you can get your Warboss into battle before the Daemon possessing him breaks out you will force the Daemonhunters to fight and kill not one but two combat monsters because the moment the Warboss falls over the Greater Daemon will appear. With any luck, by the time that happens the Daemonhunters will already have used some one-shot wargear and lost a few specialist personnel so that the Greater Daemon has a better chance of victory. In any event this type of combat is the sort that the Daemonhunters will want to isolate so they can unlimber their best guys to smite the godless. However when you are fighting Orks, even Daemonically-augmented Orks, what you get is a brawl. While the Warboss/Greater Daemon is doing his thing then the Boyz can get stuck in and drag the powerful but less numerous Damonhunters down one at a time.
Daemon packs are also useful to Orks. Superficially you might think that they are quite expensive in points and that for one Daemon you could have two choppa-armed Boyz. This is all true of course but ignores a few salient facts. Firstly, consider a unit with an Icon that hops out of a wartrukk and is suddenly accompanied by fifteen Daemons; the threat has become serious very quickly. Being able to get through the enemy barrage and dump lots of fighters in the face of the enemy is what being an Ork player is all about. Normally you don’t have enough transports for it and have to walk, hence the popularity of Speed Freeks, but Daemons can do the job too. Secondly, the Daemons could be 5 Strength and with Daemonic talons. There is very little short of a Warboss' retinue in an Ork army that can match that sort of lethality. Thirdly, the Daemons will keep coming back. If you have ever fought Orks in a Meat Grinder mission and been demoralised at the sight of a mob coming back again because of the Sustained Assault rule then you will have an idea what a Daemonhunters army facing an Ork adversary will have to deal with.

About the story in the codex, IIRC correctly there is no mention of them being in any way influenced by the Blood Prince (that's what they call the demon that they fight). All it says is that they fight, get killed, get ressurected, fight, get killed...et cetera et cetera. It also says that in a way those orks have found paradise - endless fighting for the rest of eternity, what ork would say no to that? To me, that doesn't sound like they are being "converted". If they were, why would they keep fighting?
Although I suppose all this is sort of off-topic.

Happy to help.
It's an article about how other forces could be involved in fighting Daemonhunters and also had examples of why say, the Tau, could be fighting them.
On the Nurgle orks, the picture is supposed to have come from the paper version of codex Daemonhunters, so maybe there is something in there. I looked at the .pdf version but there was nowt.
There was also an article about converting Chaos Orks but that has disappeared.

The nurgle ork story is that a group of orks find a planet with a nurgle temple, they mistake it for gork or mork (as orks do) and start using it as a focal point for their worship, this leads to a gradual change into being nurgle orks without them even realising.

That is correct, there are no more Khornate Orks in modern fluff.
Stormboyz are no longer khornate Orks, they're just young Orks who want a semblance of order-- and the ability to get into combat as fast as possible. Automatically Appended Next Post: In fact, in the Dark Heresy roleplay, Orks simply don't gain corruption points. IE, they CANNOT be corrupted by Chaos.

Considering an Ork WAAAGH! made its way into the EYE OF TERROR and conquered daemonworlds before being bogged down inside of it, without a single report of an Ork turning to Chaos... yeah, I think in modern fluff Orks turning to chaos is unheard of.
By all means do it... just know that more modern fluff is moving very strongly away from it.

Has anyone read the GreyKnights novel Hammer of Daemons. On that world there was a band of orks led by some ork with a, I don't remember, either messed up ear or something. He was described to have a look in his eye that resembled a purpose. They were trapped on a Khornate planet and they fought together in arena matches much like gladiators, for the glory of khorne.
Someone managed to get the local alien species to worship chaos I think.
ANYWAYS. Afterwards the orks still live to fight another day.
The point of this whole story is that they weren't corrupted. They were just there to fight.
I think it's completely plausible, however highly unlikely, for an ork to turn to chaos, but just not know it, or not care

Ok time to set the whole codex khorne thingy straight...
The story is about 'Tuska Da Daemon-Killa' A warlord who decides to lead his boyz into the eye of terror after having to duff over a warp daemon that possessed a wierdboy while in warp space.
So he flies into the eye of terror, duffs over a few daemon worlds, then finds a world made of blood and fresh meat, there is no-one there so he starts shooting at the ground in frustration.
Long story short, planet comes alive, khornate daemon prince known as 'the blood prince' turns up, great big fight, blood prince and tuska both die killing each other.
Next day, Tuska's WAAAGH! is resurrected, crush maim kill, all dead, resurrected again and everyone lived happily ever after.
No worship, possesion etc etc, just happens to be that the WAAAGH! is not stuck in the daemonic equivalent of groundhog day...
Though on an unrelated topic, wonder what would happen if you infected an ork with the obliterator virus?
