Entered it, just one thing: the whole "enter 13 scores here" thing is tedious, it might scare people away. Other than that, I am looking forward to their products.

I entered the Bar, Office and Apartment, so I can create my life in miniature.

Basically I roll to wake up on time, go to the Bar, stumble to the office with a die roll to avoid traffic, and then stumble home to go to bed.

Thanks,

One of the most important factors for me would be ease of play.

-If you make tiny rooms with 3in high interior walls, there may be a problem fitting many models inside especially when they have protruding parts.

-Adding stairs like in the example would simply be annoying. You can't put any models on it, it takes up space, but it'd be annoying to put models underneath it.

The hallways should be fine as-is, but if you were to expand the footprint to 25*25 cm, you could increase the rooms to ~8.5 cm square. That might be a bit better. Or reduce the internal walls to 6.5 cm so they don't get in the way as much.

If you did some industrial corridors and rooms, modular with each other, I would be very interested.

I don't mind which building they do first, if it has a cool design and is not too close to existing models (e.g. GW, Armorcast, Ziterdes).

Or is there an option for Tau/Eldar buidings?

Site unavailable when I hit submit button but my choices were Matrix Foyer, Bank and Office.

Stairways could be fudged for gameplay. They could be represented by a box that is half the height of the wall that may or may not have stair parts on either side of it. The idea being that any model is either on one level or the other or halfway up the stairs so room for two 25mm bases would be good (so that encounters on the stairs can take place) either on a box or cut into a modelled staircase.

Have you thought of making 3/4 walls, with the final 1/4 attached to the roof/floor of the next story? That might help with moving around models inside, while leaving the possibility of a full building intact.

Modular civilian buildings, I loves it!

For me, the most important aspects would be that the buildings are easy to disassemble/store. I would be very excited to see dystopian future style "hab blocks" and so on, if you produce them.
Also, I would echo the other people's comments that in game usability would trump detail and looks for me every time. I would focus the "looks" end of things on textures, perhaps. Is it paper going over a wood frame? If so, will you be doing different "skins", or is that too expensive?
A very interesting product to be sure. Do you think it will be available before september next year?

Alright guys I am going to try to answer all the questions, but if I misses yours I am sorry.

If you make tiny rooms with 3in high interior walls, there may be a problem fitting many models inside especially when they have protruding parts.
This is true, we are looking into making the interior walls removable to avoid this problem.

Adding stairs like in the example would simply be annoying. You can't put any models on it, it takes up space, but it'd be annoying to put models underneath it.
The stairs are designed to allow miniatures to be placed on every step.

The hallways should be fine as-is, but if you were to expand the footprint to 25*25 cm, you could increase the rooms to ~8.5 cm square. That might be a bit better. Or reduce the internal walls to 6.5 cm so they don't get in the way as much.
We did want to do that but because of the materials we are limited to 37*21cm so 25*25 is impossible. Making the interior walls smaller is a possibility.

Is there an option for Tau/Eldar buidings?
Such is the beauty of the global market place, if we can generate enough demand, then yes I think we can get some Tau or Eldar buildings designed.

Have you thought of making 3/4 walls, with the final 1/4 attached to the roof/floor of the next story? That might help with moving around models inside, while leaving the possibility of a full building intact.
That is a good idea however roofs will be sold separately so that you can have any kind of skyline you wish or a mix of different style roofs. These roofs will be able to go on all buildings, but not if we fix the location of the interior walls to the bottom.

Is it paper going over a wood frame? If so, will you be doing different "skins", or is that too expensive?
It is paper over a wood frame, and skins are possible, but require a whole new batch from the factory so will not be done unless we get a high demand for them. (but the material is safe to paint and convert so you can always go to town on one or two of your buildings to make them unique).

Thanks again for submitting your suggestions and completing the survey. (the survey will remain open for a few days before it is closed).

Here's an idea for Skins: If you guys have the wall parts that are fairly standard (like 6x4" wall segment, 2 windows etc) you could make the wall paper templates available so that people could design their own patterns etc and simply print them out. Hell, you could even offer different digital versions for sale on your web site, or create a "wall paper store" on it where people can post theirs and have others buy them for like 10 cents. It would be really nice to be able to see what other people come up with and be able to download and print out the "paint" for the buildings.

Edit : To clarify, I mean selling the wood frames and allow the customers to print their own skins and glue them on. Printing and pasting is a lot quicker than painting, but still lends a lot of variety, and if I can download someone else's much nicer skins, I win even more
