I for one have already placed my order for some of the resins, but once the metals come out plan to buy those as well.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Oooo those are really nice. I especially like Morgan Vade.

I'm assuming they are the same size as their other miniatures, but it doesn't say.

those are nice, but the metal prices had better be 1/4 of the resin prices.

And here is hoping that they make a full platoon worth of figures, and not just a squad worth.

Beautiful models. I'll try to order one or two of those, i like them. About the price, i think they are correctly priced, those are high quality models, and they worth it, not like 'other' companies

I fully agree with you on this. As for the resin limited runs I thinkthe prices are spot on. I bought 5 of the models today personally, and when he comes out with the metal I will buy those. Heck I may just even carry the line as I think these would sell well at conventions. He has said that it will be a company worths of models as Kara is now a Capt. vs the enemy, and that the metals will cost drastically cheaper.

Ooooh +1

I'm also hoping that the metals are more reasonable.

I like the look, and also hope that for some of the models (trooper with grenade launcher) that there is an option for a helmeted head as well.

These, the proposed convicts, and enemies will make great fodder for Rogue Trader or other RPG's not to mention skirmish. I'm going to keep an eye on these.

Jesus. Those prices make GW look like a Pound Store. I hope the conversion to metal really puts a dent in the price. Then I'd be interested.

Here's the thing guys he has said the metals will be considerably cheaper. The reason being for these is that they are from resin and I meant more for painters then players. The metals that will be release in the comming months are for playing.

Nice looking figs. They'll make nice alternates for MERCs minis. I can see them as alternate Yellowjackets.

I find it interesting that both the basic trooper and the trooper with grenade launcher are basically conversions of the original Kara sculpt. Not a bad thing, just something at jumped out at me. I'll be looking forwards to the metals.

Yes, very nice models, however they are the same price as the limited edition character figures, of which I have several.

I might buy one or two out of this set as characters, but I couldn’t justify the cost to form a unit.

If they can bring out metal versions at a price competitive with Infinity they will be more easily justifiable.

It shows how long I have been wargaming that I remember when 25 pence was thought a bit pricey for a 25mm figure.

Agreed!

These are lovely models, but, at £11.99 a pop, thats taking it a bit too far! I can't imagine the metals will be so lacking in detail compared to the resins that I could justify spending that kind of money on a unit. Add to that, at the moment, there's no game to associate these figures with, so at best, they'll be proxy's in Infinity or like someone has already said, MERCs.....

I'll wait for the metals and see what they go for.

Infinity's a great game that could really do with some proxies. Infinity's sculpts are great, they just don't do it for me. I'll definitely look into this when it goes metal.

I think to many people are concentrating on price when it has been said the metals will be far less expensive, and have a good price comparible to other games systems out there. As per they look like Kara well that makes sense since they are same army and all. These initial ones were cast in resin as show pieces, nothing more.

Well, if you don't concentrate on price, what is there to say...yes, they're awesome miniatures and would look good in any display....

...However, its the price that will ultimately decide whether or not these miniatures actually make it into a display cabinet.

On another point though, I did like the fluff, and when these do go METAL, they will awesome alongside the Antenocities new model range, especially with their range of Sci Fi vehicles....in fact, going further down that road of thought, eve the miniatures from Pig Iron, thw ferals, they would make a great opponent for the Studio McVey minis!

Man down, Man down....
