I'm making an imperial guard army, called the either the the Traktiongrad 107th or the Panzerstadt Winterthur 109th. I intend to use the pig iron heads for my guardsmen, but I can't think of colour scheme. As you can probably guess from the name, I'm going for an Archaic/Steam punk/Slavic feel. I was thinking a kind of 'cold' feel, not desert or urban.

Any ideas?
All input appreciated

Light blues and whites will make them look cold. Alternatively mud brown has always been a favourite of conscript armies from unpleasant climates

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I agree with the white feel. have you ever played Operation Anchorage? If you have, i think the chinese would be a good uniform idea to pursue.

Hmm, Steam punk/Archaic. Sounds like you're going to maybe want to go with browns, faded greens, some white, and brass colors.

Not mine, found it on google images.

Dark Green and little red stars is a must for any army with "-grad" in the name

I agree with the white, light blue, light grey, and tan ideas. These were the colors of pretty much ever central and eastern european armies for the past 300 years (except for Russia's stint with a bright forest green).

What do you think I should go
for, Traktiongrad or Panzerstadt Winterthur?

Traktiongrad would be fictional and preferrable.

Winterthur is also a real city in swiss. Do you like to base the army on swiss?
