It may shoot after deepstriking, just like every other unit in the game.

As far as assault moving, re-read your codex, I'm fairly certain there is a blurb in there specifically prohibiting taking your JSJ assault move.

The Codex mentions that Battlesuits may not JSJ after Deep Striking.

However, it makes no mention of Gun Drone units being subject to the same restriction...

If i remember corectly, it says that the gun drones count as the owner so i asume that they woulden't be able to have there extra move.

Did you know? Every sunday from 12 to 5 pm you can get a carvery for £6.95 at the pudding and pye.

Drones purchased by a suit with a controller are the same as their owner. However if you take the actual FA choice of gun drones then they are completely separate and are just jump troops.

Jet pack troops.

Also should any Vehicle with the gun drones upgrade gain the ability to deepstrike(such as in a Planetstrike game, or the Devilfish Apoc Formation), that vehicle can release it's drones; which can then technically JSJ.

The new BRB FAQ addresses this directly as well.

Yes all the above is true expect were gun drone squads can't use an JSJ move in the assault turn they deep strike. They actually can so long as you are dealing with a squad of just gun drones.
