I'd have no problem letting an opponent do this. All it says is "during deployment". There are no provisions for having to deploy or reserve one unit at a time or when you declare how they are arriving from reserves.

Well you still need to declare any special rules they are using for how they deploy from reserves during army deployment. Still, nothing stops you from joining the two in army deployment, then declaring that they will outflank using Creed's rule.

Ah, I thought you were saying you join them during army deployment, then in a later turn, after you make their reserve roll, you could at that point declare how they were arriving, which is a no-no.
