Games: Each round will be one of the standard missions from the BRB. (With a twist)
Game 1: Seize Ground “3 Objectives”
Game 2: Capture and Control
Game 3: Annihilation
Before each game one player will roll for deployment the other will roll on the chart below to add a twist.
The Twist:
1- Night Fight (See BRB, this rule over rides the dusk and dawn special rules )
2- Low Gravity (All infantry, calvary, bikes and jump infantry gain an additional D6 inch movement. However on a roll of 1 the unit takes a wound with no saving throws allowed. The unit may still run, fleet, and charge as normal. All vehicles move as if they are on roads, but if a vehicle moves at cruising speed roll a d6, flat out roll 2d6 if either a 1is rolled then the vehicle is out of control and takes 1 glancing hit. Skimmers are unaffected by low gravity.)
3- None
4- None
5- *Booby Traps (Each marker has been trapped when a unit moves within 3 inches of it roll a d6, on 1-3 there is no effect on 4-6 the trap triggers. Roll 2d6 to determine the str (MAX 10). All units caught within 6 inches of the marker suffer 1d6 hits, all saves allowed. Vehicles are hit from the side facing the objective. Once the trap has been rolled it becomes inert.)
6- *Disruption Beacons (All markers count as disruption beacons. No unit may enter play within 12” of the beacon. The beacon over rides homers, locators, banners…etc. Units entering play via deep strike that lands within 12 inches of the beacon must scatter again (if a hit is rolled use the arrow) until the unit is no longer within 12 inches.
* If you are not playing the seize ground mission then players will place 3 markers on the field before deployment. During a seize ground mission the objectives are considered the markers.
Bonus objectives:
Occupation, 1 point- You have more units than your opponent in his/her deployment zone.
Assassination, 1 point- You eliminate the most expensive HQ in your opponent’s army. If a unit has a retinue, then retinue must also be destroyed at the end of the game to earn this objective.
Survival of the Fittest, 1 Point- 75% of your must not be destroyed by the end of the game. Fleeing units and units that failed to arrive via reserve/deep strike count as destroyed. Calculate your victory points (i.e. not more than 437 points can be destroyed).
