So far I've always written his lists for him, though obviously consulting him about all the options, but he sat down with codex and roster and worked out this 5-Battlewagon list to face my poor beleaguered Marines:

It's proved quite effective so far! I think I'd be inclined to drop the Kopta, personally, and use the points to get the 3rd Boyz Mob a Bosspole, and diversify the Meganobz a bit, but otherwise, this looks quite pleasantly scary.

Only problem so far has been finding enough Wagon models in the house... we ended up pressing a couple of Land Raiders into service as counts-as Wagons today.

I would take off the RPJ and get an other shoota. (What happens at the 2nd weapons destroyed result?)
I would take cybork bodies instead of the weapon upgrades, they are choppy with only two-three klaws. The FNP won`t work against powerweapons and AP 1/2 weapons (like plasmacannon).
And the BP indeed a good idea but instead of more points put in the MANz i`d take grot rigers.
