YO DAKKA DAKKA!

Gabriel Seth's special attack inflicts an automatic hit on all enemy models in base contact.

Make the call, Dakka:
After rolling to wound, can these wounds be allocated?

Wounds will be allocated normally, Seth doesn't say otherwise.

Yep. Treat is as you would a Blast Marker, which also automatically hits - you still get to allocate wounds as normal.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

We are thinking the same thought.

The blast marker comparison is a good one - I saw no reason why wounds would not be allocated normally. I was finishing up a game against a BA player at about 1am and had not the energy to come up with a convincing argument at the time!

I agree with everyone so far... I have a question that goes further, what if he were in base contact with an IC, and a squad does the IC have to take the wound?

Yes, as the IC is a seperate unit in close combat (well, treated as one anyway...)

Yes Nosferatu is right you can allocate wounds within a squad but if there is an IC or a separate squad they must be allocated a wound or in the case of a second squad a number of wounds equal to the amount of models in base contact.
