So I'm getting ready to make a Necron Lord on foot out of a Destroyer and Warrior. I would like some suggestions on how I could pose him. So far the coolest pose I've seen was made by Jerseydevil and it was a Lord rising out of the ground, ResOrb in hand with a storm of sand rising up around him.

The pose I am thinking about doing is for my Lord to have his left arm raised choking an enemy (probably a Tau Firewarrior as it's what I have the most of) with his right arm down either holding his weapon or a ResOrb. Whatever he isn't holding will either be floating or be held up by a tide of scarabs, and everything on the model will be plastic.

Also I don't need advice on how to do the conversion itself, I'm just looking for ideas on differant poses I could put my Lord in just in case I like something better then my current idea. So any suggestions would be appreciated

Another idea might be to do a 'counts as' lord on destroyer, but instead of doing the destroyer body, make it look like he's being carried along by a tide of scarabs.

That's pretty cool actually, I think I saw something like that in a movie but can't remember where it was

Oh I remember. It was in the Pitch Black movie where the lady is ripped in half by the swarm of young aliens and carried through the sky.

If you're just looking for conversion ideas then here's my destroyer lord. Converted from various pieces. With a destroyer and a standard necron as main parts.

You know I had thought about making a Pariah themed lord and using the Empire Wizard head as you did since it looks more human but is still Egyptian/mechanical looking. And good use of the Ushabti blade.

That being said I'm not looking for general conversion ideas but ideas on how to pose my Lord and no offence ment but your lord is kind of genericly posed. I would have done it so that he had both hands on the Ushabti blade and was swinging it like a Charioteer. But that's just me, good model though

Actually nevermind what I said about the pose. I just realised that he's actually sitting and not fused to the Destroyer body. Still a good model

I was about to say, Savis' Lord is about as ungeneric as you're going to get.

I have to say, killing an enemy never really looks good on a gaming model, unless it's done really, really well. Usually, it ends up with a really static enemy getting killed in a really unnatural position. Also, killing a fire warrior hardly makes a Lord look bad-ass. Anyone can kill a Fire Warrior, a Guardsman can kill a Fire Warrior.

Well it's a good thing I'm a very good modeler then isn't it

And as far as the Firewarrior comment, not to be rude but I'm not asking for comments (such as that one) which have nothing to do with poses. So if you have any actual ideas for other poses I could do I'm open to them.

Oooo, oooo, don't have him phsyically Holding the Fire Warrior, have it kind of hover in the air, or floating one some Scarabs, and have the Lord doing a Force Choke thing on it!

Otherwise, there's this one below that I did. Just have the head looking the other direction, or the same so he's not even looking at the victim.

Yeah that looks pretty good, what if I had say a guardsmen or something standing in front of my lord with his staff of light pointed towards him as if shooting. Then on the guardsmen I would use skeleton bits and GS to make it look like his skin/muscle was being stripped from his body.
