Hello, I was just wondering, what is the best way to paint hive fleet Behemoth? And if there is more than one way, what is the best route for a beginner painter with limited supplies??? (And in addition if anyone would post some cool hive fleet Behemoth variations, thanks!)

Somewhere in south-central England.

There is an official scheme in the codex. I can't remember the colours just at the moment.

Generally the official schemes use two main colours, and pick out the teeth, claws and 'muscle' bits with a third and fourth colour.

Then do a bit of shading and highlights, particularly on the carapace parts.

If you don't want to follow the official scheme, you can choose your own colours. You need to choose two colours which work together.

An easy way to paint Nids is to spray prime them with the Army Painter colour primer that matches the main body non-carapace parts. Paint the carapace. Paint the claws, etc and highlights on the carapace.

Finish with an overall wash or magic dip shade.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
