I used two IG autocannons, trimmed and glued together. There's a fellow who posted his instructions for doing so in one of the P&M forums. No pictures as of yet, the whole thing's still a WIP.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

I use Assault Cannons and Plasma Cannons, but I would vote for either the Aegis or IG Sentinel Cannons.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

I've used the Aegis defense line cannon for my Hydras, and the piece looks like it'd work fine for Dread' ACs too.

Most are using the Aegis line cannons because it's really easy. I didn't think it looked enough like a dreadnought weapon and I used the Leman Russ Executioner autocannons (the barrels have been trimmed shorter since I took those pictures)

That's a missile launcher arm with the executioner cannons and an ammo can for a sponson heavy bolter, fit together with a little putty

Personally I feel the cannon barrels look too long on that dreadnought. The Heavy bolter arm is some very nice work though.
